How can I get Paypal to recognise my home phone number as every time I try to fill in account details it says phone number does not configure

Put phone number many times sends me back when i press continue

K i gave in and called my service provider and they told me that my password was preset i had eventually just locked myself out.... simply call your provider and tell them you need your pic msg account reset and for them to send you your password

For all android devices a google mail account is needed for purchasing apps etc. if he did not set this up and had set the pass code without the email specified the only way to get back into the phone would be to do a complete reset. Before you do this have you tried restarting the device and seeing if it gives you the ability to try to enter the code again, if not here is how to do a factory reset. As stated below this will delete everything on the sd card so i would advise you copy all the files from it onto your computer. the entire process should only take about 10 to 15 minutes depending on the phone sometimes less than this, good luck!

i would contact paypal asap if you find a charge you do not recognise on your account. the contact numbers are under the help section. they will put a hold on the payment until it can be sorted out. good luck

I would like to change my pass word


First of all
Go to Paypal website and Login to your account
Once the page appears, click on profile
Under "Profile" you will see your details like "Name, Address Phone etc"
Infront of password on the right hand side it says "change"
Click on "change"
Select password
It will ask you few questions like "Full bank account number or Full credit card number"
Fill in your details and click on submit
Once you are done it will ask you to change your password.
Put the new password and press enter.

Your password is changed now.
Logout and login again with new password.

5.Enter the new address and click 'Save.'
If you have a credit card or a debit card on your PayPal account associated with the new address, select it, then click 'Save.'

If the new address is your home address click 'Make Home.' If it is a business address, click 'Make Business.'

Here's how to remove your old address:
1.Go to the PayPal website and log in to your account.
2.Click 'Profile' near the top of the page.
3.Click 'Update' beside 'Address.'
4.Find the address you want to remove and click 'Remove.'

Note:

We can't accept a PO Box as your home address. You may use a PO Box as a shipping address, but not as your home address.

You must have at least one address on your account. You can't remove an address until you add a new address and make it the home address.

You can't remove an address from your account if it is your credit or debit card billing address. Please update your address with your card issuer before you update it with us.
C. Can I change my address from one country to another?
Unfortunately, you can't add addresses outside Australia to your account at this time. When you move to another country, you need to close your old PayPal account and create a new account using your new address.

If you have addresses in both countries, you can keep your old PayPal account and create a new one, but only one of your accounts can be a Premier or Business account.
D. How do I update my phone number?
Here's how to add a phone number to your PayPal account:
1.Go to the PayPal website and log in to your account.

4.Click 'Update' beside 'Debit and credit cards'.
5.Click 'Edit' next to the card you want to change.
6.Update your information.
7.Enter your card security code.
8.Click 'Save.'
F. How do I remove a limitation from my account?
Here is how to remove a limitation on your account:
1.Go to the PayPal website and log in to your account.
2.Click 'Resolution Centre' near the top of the page.
3.Click 'Resolve' for each required response under 'Begin a limitation review.'
4.Follow the steps to remove the account limitation.
If you complete these steps and your account remains limited, it might be because:
- We need additional information from you. We will send you an email to let you know exactly what information we need.
- We have not finished our review of your case. We can usually email you the results of our review within 3 business days.
G. How do I recover my password?
Please follow the steps below to recover the password for your PayPal account.

To recover your password:
1.Go to www.paypal.com.au.
2.Click 'Problem with login?' under 'Account login.'
3.Select 'I forgot my password.'
4.Enter the email address you used to create your PayPal account.
5.Enter the security code shown, without spaces.
6.Click 'Continue.'

Depending on the information on your account, we will either ask you to enter in some details, such as your card number, to confirm your account.

Alternatively, we may send an email to your email address.
If we send you an email, simply click on the link in the email and create a new password.

If you do not have access to your email account, you can try to confirm your account ownership by phone:
1.Click 'by phone' on the 'We just emailed you' page.
2.Select a telephone number from your account.
3.Select 'Call now' or 'Call in a minute' if you are ready to receive a telephone call.
4.Enter an email address where you can receive further instructions from us.
5.Click 'Continue.'

Cancel a PayPal Payment

Sign in to PayPal.
Navigate to the "Profile" screen by clicking "Profile" button.

By default, your personal info will appear.
Click "My Money" to view your financial details.

Click the blue "Update" link next to "My Preapproved Payments."
A list will appear, with the merchants who you have agreed to automatically pay via your PayPal account.

All merchants you've ever agreed to reoccurring payments with will appear.
Click on the desired merchant.

Click the blue "Cancel" button next to "Status" at the top.
Click "Yes" when a confirmation box appears.

Once the payment is successfully canceled, you will see "Canceled on XX," where XX is the date.

6.00 to 22.00 AEST/AEDT to resolve this issue
they might ask you some personal details you made when you first made your paypal account so i you can remember these have them ready

I'm trying to login in to my paypal account, but haven't used it for some time. I've forgotton my password, but when trying to reset it I'm not recognising the security questions. Also my...


1st question back to you on this would be do you have a family member or spouse sharing your account or a second account in the house sharing a phone number?
Are they verifying your account with your phone number?

This happened once to me, my wife and I shared a phone number and when I tried verifying my account they brought up the wrong one, because they asked for the phone number as proof and it was linked to her account as well as mine.

It snot a solution but a possible cause of the issue you are experiencing.
The solution in this case would be to contact Paypal on the telephone to explain the issue.

Paypal does not recognise my e-mail address, yet i can click on the "different method" to retrieve e-mail address and put in all my details including banking and log on and trade that way. Why...
