What do you see when you look at the directory? What is using the drive? If nothing is there, try formatting the drive.
Right click on the icon in "My Computer"
Choose "Format"
Format the entire drive.
If that does not work, you may more than one partition on your drive.
Let me know what you find. I can help more.

Can you buy the filter in the all compartment in ant retail stores?

Hi there, it's Jack at Dyson.

Unfortunately we're unable to confirm whether or not local retailers would carry stock of the DC25 post motor filter. Both of DC25's filters are engineered to last the lifetime of the machine in normal use, and we wouldn't usually expect them to need replacement.

Filters are available to order from Dyson direct via http://www.dyson.com or if you'd prefer to order by phone you can reach our experts by calling 0800 298 0298 (UK), 1-866-693-9766 (US), 1-877-397-6622 (CA) or 1800 239 766 (AU).

How to emove the demo on screen ?

Removing Your TV from Shop Mode or Store Demo Mode

First, confirm your TV is in Shop Mode or Store Demo Mode:

1. Press the INFO button on your remote control. A list of settings appears.
2. See if the Picture Mode setting is set to Shop Mode or Store Demo Mode.

There are three methods for removing your TV from Shop Mode or Store Demo Mode. If the first method does not work, try the second or third method.
Method 1

To remove your TV from Shop Mode or Store Demo Mode, follow these steps:

1. Press the Volume button on the side panel of your TV. If your TV does not have a side panel, press the Volume button on the front panel. The TV displays the volume bar.
2. Press the Menu button on the side panel of your TV for about seven seconds. Again, if your TV does not have a side panel, press the Menu button on the front panel. If Dynamic or Dynamic Mode is displayed on the screen, your TV has been removed from Shop Mode or Store Demo Mode.

Note: You may want to press the INFO button on your remote again to confirm you TV is no longer in Shop Mode or Store Demo Mode.

Method 2

1. Press the Volume button on your remote.

Method 3

1. Press and hold the Volume button on your TV. The TV displays the volume bar.
2. As you are holding the Volume button, press the Menu button on the side panel of your TV for about seven seconds.

Volume control pot is bad. Tagged VR1 on PC

Before you replace the pot, try cleaning it. Use electrical contact cleaner such as:

- CRC QD Electrical Contact Cleaner (available at many auto supply stores) - www.crcindustries.com
- Caig DeoxIT (available at Radio Shack and electronics supply stores) - www.caig.com/

Spray the cleaner liberally in the pot (spray where the shaft meets the pot, and if possible, into any holes on the back of the pot), and rotate the shaft repeatedly. Repeat several times.

If the pot is still intermittent, it can be replaced, but you need to replace it with a compatible part, and the job will require some soldering skills to prevent damaging the rest of the circuit.

Make sure you get an appropriate replacement. You need a replacement pot with the correct resistance (measured in ohms) and taper (linear or analog). Typically, the value of the pot is marked on the back, and will read something like "103A" or "10K - B". 103 or 10K indicate the resistance in ohms, and "A" or "B" indicate whether it is linear or audio, respectively.

Your best bet is to desolder the part and take it to a local electronics store for a replacement. If no store is available locally, replacements can be ordered from online stores such as:

- Mouser.com
- Jameco.com
- Digikey.com

Feel free to post the numbers on the back of the pot if you need help locating an appropriate replacement.

(Note that the convention for labeling taper has changed over time - getting the wrong taper should not damage the equipment, but will probably result in the volume control to seem "not smooth.")

How do you turn ringer on and off on a uniden exi8560 cordless 5.8ghz

hello. To turn the ringer off on that phone you need to get into the menu. The way you get into the menu is press and hold the menu/cid button for 2 seconds. Then press the arrow down button until you highlight the ringer volume. once the ringer volume is highlighted, press the select/channel button. that will rotate you through the 3 available volume levels. High, low and off. as you are pressing the select/channel button the handset sounds a sample of the volume level. when you hear the volume level you want simply press end and that will store your volume to the off position. to turn it back on, just repeat the above steps but select the proper volume level you want and then hit end. I hope this helps.. Don;t forget to rate me. thanks !

Programing

Here are some suggestions Volume You may adjust the ringer, speaker, handset and headset volumes independently with the VOLUME ^ and VOLUME v buttons. Your telephone comes with predetermined settings which can be adjusted to individual taste. You will hear an error tone when the maximum or minimum volume level is reached. During volume adjustment, a ?dashed line? icon shows in the display. Adjusting the Ringer Volume Press the VOLUME ^ or v button while in on-hook mode. And/or 1 Selecting a Ringer Tone You may select the ringer tone for each line independently. You may choose to turn the ringer off or select one of the four available ringer tones for each line. 1. Press STORE. The red indicator blinks indicating unit is in Store Mode. 2. Use the number pad to select a ringer tone 0 through 4 (selecting 0 turns the ringer off). 3. Press STORE and then press the desired line button. NOTE: The line indicators continue to flash for incoming calls even with the ringer disabled. You may not select the same ringer tone for both lines. Checking the Ringer Settings Check the setting or each ringer (on, off) by pressing STORE, followed by LINE 1 or LINE 2 button when the phone is on the hook. The ringer setting of the selected line will be shown in the display. If there are any further questions or comments please post here. Please rate this solution through fix-it. Thank you.
