The reason for running an amp is becauze ur running your volume so loud you are getting distortion. Btw, its the distortion that damages speakers. If your happy with the sound then you dont need an amp. If your running your radio "full tilt" to get your sound, think about adding some power.

Fusion AT 1100 Flashes green power light once and then shuts down. Hiya I have checked all the wires again but no luck. I love this sub and do not have money to buy another one. Please help :-(

Amp is going into protect mide. This means either the amp has an internal fault or the speaker is blown. Pull the speaker out and disconnect the wires from it. Make sure they don't touch. If the amp powers up fine you know the speaker is bad. If it doesn't the amp is bad.

I have a 2 ohm dvc sub and a fusion pp am10001 amp what the best way to wire the sub to this amp

Since your amp is only 2 ohm stable, you will need to wire your 2 ohm DVCs in series (if they are 2 ohms each voice coil). Here is the manual for your amp:

Fusion amp soild bold red when the radio comes on

The amplifier is in protection mode.
3 reasons for this...

  1. Improper Load/overheat - wrong impedence voicecoils or wired improperly below rated impedence.
  2. Grounded Power - speaker wires touching, power wire touching ground,
  3. Internal component failure.
if the amplifier will still not go out of protect mode after removing the speakers and jumpering the remote wire to the + terminal - your amplifier needs professional repair.
