Question about Melissa And Doug Toy Upright Piano by Melissa & Doug

Open Question

I have a Learn to Play Melissa and Doug piano and the keys are fairly loose. Is there a way to tighten them?

I took the top off and tightened the two screws that hold the metal piece that the keys hit to make sound because that was loose. I now need to tighten the actual keys so that the sound is crisper and not drowned out. My daughter has definitely given it a beating!

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: need written instruction for melissa and doug

Go to the Melissa and Doug website and download the PDF file and print it out also if you wish. The set doesn't come with instructions inside the box... Perhaps they figure that children will go ripping through the box and discard it?!

Best regards

The stem is loose when im riding but i tightend the L key on the top tight as possible n neck still loost any idea?

There are typically two allen bolts that mount on the side of the handlebar stem. Those should be tightened. The top one should only be tightened to remove up and down play in the headset. If you tighten the top one too tight, steering will feel clunky. Only tighten the top one tight enough to remove the up/down play. Use the side bolts to keep the handlebars from turning relative to the wheel.

Loose keys on my wonderful Technics digital piano

You would be very surprised of how few moving parts are in side one of these keyboards. There is no fix to the action, trust me. play the day lights out of it until it stops then get a new one. Have some fun and explore, if you find an old one that is shot, take it a part and you will see what I mean. These units are really a disposable instrument.
I hope this doesn't disappoint you . I hope it helped. Keep on rockin in the free world. DFD
