The following symptoms are generally caused by a failed solenoid within the machine:
• Prints further down on the page than normal
• Paper Size Mismatch errors
• Transfer Roller jams
• Color quality issues where the color remains on the transfer belt instead of printing on the page
Printing 3 inches too far down the page; Paper Size Mismatch errors; Color Quality problems
CAUSE: Failed registration roller solenoid (SL2).
Note: Under most circumstances it is recommended that the customer (end user) have a technician service the machine or replace the printer (if under warranty). However when dealing with a customer who is technically inclined and who would like to attempt
replacement of the part, the attached procedure can be provided.
SOLUTION: Replace SL2 (p/n 9321 2400 21).
1. To order replacement parts, contact the Konica Minolta Supply Line at 800-972-6705.
If the end user (customer) would like to order and replace the part(s), it will be at their own risk if the installation causes additional issues.

very annoying message i agree - most likely caused by toner dust.
The printer uses a carousel to rotate the toner cartridges. Dust and toner can easily spill as the cartridges rotate. The error can appear at any time but seems to be most annoying after a paper jam or other error. It is also important to make sure that the cartridges themselves are clear of toner dust. Pay particulair attention to any copper contacts on the cartridge.
