Question about Toshiba 46XV640U 46-inch Hdmi Lcd Tv 16 9 Widescreen 1920 X 1080
I updated the firmware. No change. Every time I turn off TV I have to set it up again before I can watch anything. Has anyone else seen this?
Most newer LCD, LED, or Plasma models "flash" the setup into non-volatile memory devices so this is not normal. If you are requested to "save" the configuration and don't or don't know how, maybe this would happen. Even power outages should not cause what you are seeing unless the configuration is somehow not be retained when the power is removed or by chance you are using a power strip to turn it off when it needs constant power to retain the settings.

Do you get lines on other input beside the HDMI? Component inputs, Composite input?
