Question about HP Office Equipment & Supplies
After a carriage belt replacement error 48:00 occurs every time printer is turned on. In Diagnostic Tests, In scan-axis test, Report reads PRS test: - Reading PRS Position - Position unknown- Moving PRS position to HIGH position - Moving PRS position to low position 48:00 error-restart printer.... I have replaced the carriage rear bushing, then replaced the Solenoid, then the trailing cable and then the PrintMech but printer still reports Error 48:00. HP have said this can't happen. Printer was in perfect working order up to belt change. Please help.
Make sure that when you reinstalled the service station that it is seated properly or it will bind when the printer engages
