Are you sure you did not lock the card? be aware the "switch" should be in the up position, as on the picture on the let side.

Please Check that card was inserted correctly If Not then insert it correctly!
If it's OK then check if on computer with the help of card reader!
if Card was OK Then Please Visit You Camera Service Center!!

Do you have pics on the internal memory? You must format the internal memory with no card in the camera. Then, format the card.

Is it an SDHC card? SD and SDHC cards fit the same slots, but many cameras won't work with the SDHC (high capacity) cards. SDHC is not backwards compatible.
