SOURCE: I overfilled the Spa and now the breaker keeps blowing.

at the moment it sounds like there msut be some water along the lines inside your electrics, the only thing to do at the moment would be to let it dry out and try either in a few hours or tomorrow. it could be causing a cross between the live and earthing conductors.

SOURCE: hot tub blows 50 amp breaker after about two

this could be a bad heater element. easy way to tell is to fill tub all the way to the normal water level turn power off open control box and disconnect wires going to heater be sure not to break leads off when you disconnect so if this is not the problem you can hook back up after disconnecting make sure wires are not touching any thing and turn power on if it stays on you need a new heater element, if not try unplugging things from box one by one until u find the one that allows the breaker to stay on.

SOURCE: Reads OH but still cold

you either have a bad temperature sensor (check the wires for damage) or a bad circuit board. I would recommend replacing the temp sensor first. If that doesn't work, pull the board and take it and have it tested.

SOURCE: I have a Sundance Spa that has started tripping the breaker

It is unlikely the Breaker is BAD, that just doesn't happen. To trip a breaker there MUST be an Overload, or a Short circuit, that's it. You will have to use a meter an troubleshoot the system. Something is very wrong..please use the links below to troubleshoot and repair. Please Be careful.

SOURCE: Calcium build up in my Arctic Spa Hot Tub

The worst calcium build-up I have seen on an Acrylic shell was actually caused by incorrect use of chemicals by the owner. The owner was dosing in very large quantities which was the cause of their issues. Little and often is the best way to go when adding any chemicals to a hot tub.

I don't rate Aqua Finesse at all. I have seen cirulation lines partially blocked due to similar products, I wont recommend it to any of my customers or use it myself.

If you were my customer, I'd be running through your chemical routine and the quantities that you add at any one time. It's possible that you are over-dosing and causing the problem to get worse.

Kind Regards,
Ian Kime.

What would cause both pumps and the light not to work on my hot tub?

Hello, Chances are the GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) outlet that the pumps and lights are plugged in to is blown and needs to be reset via the buttons between the outlets. One button is a test for the outlet and will blow the fuse intentionally to verify the proper operation of the outlet, and the second button is used to reset the outlet to normal operation. If the outlet will not reset or hold (stay on) then the whole outlet needs to be replaced.

Have you called your local Watkins dealer for a service call?
I can have you look at a couple of things before you call it in.
Once you turn the system on it will operate without the heater on to purge the system of air. Once that few minutes has gone by the heater will turn on and they system will operate normally.
At what point during this cycle does the system shut down? Does it blow the circuit breaker? Exactly HOW does it shut the pump down?

I have a maax spa, the pump and air lights are flashing, any ideas?

Maax, use a lot of proprietary components calling them is usually best.

But first there are two things which will shut a spa down like this are the main GFCI breaker or the Hi-Limit switch.
Reset or replace.
