What is a heating valve please ,never heard of this terminology ,a heater take off yes but a valve ?well if does have one i have never seen one ,most common cause is a core plug or in american freeze plug but a heating valve ?? couid be a heater hose perished and split i agree but a heating valve the heat on these cars is shut off by closing a flap on the heater inside the heater unit so this repair if its just a heater hose shouldnt take long unless its a core plug in which it may involve a longer job
easist thing to do is take it to a muffler shop and let them fab one. it probly rattels something horible, becouse its riding on the skid plate. shouldnt cost to much to have a muffler shop just fab something to get it off the plate. good luck and good wheeling
Hi there bjmaurer73! What the most problem most likely is either the gear system that drives the equalizer has stripped out, the equalizer broke or there is a misalignment that just causes the motor to spin. As a mechanic there is two things i suggest... if you think you can take it apart you will want to look at those problems. They shouldnt be hard to fix or replace. The other option is to take it in to a shop, the shop shouldnt cost too much because it is an easily accessable mechanism. If this helps you out, rate the solution :) have a great day!

Sounds like the heater plugs, and as its quite cold it will take longer to heat up, have you tried giving it one heat light then turn the ignition off again, then do it again 3 times in total then try to fire it over if it starts quite easy then its your heater plugs. timing shouldnt be out, if it was then it would seem very lumpy even when turning over.
Simply pull the dipstick and check the oil level, if it is still showing then yes you can still drive it much longer, swing by a mechanic and ask him to check that the oil pump is working correctly, only take 2 minutes and he shouldnt charge for having a look. Good luck
go to a junk yard where you can pull your own parts find a camry that is around your same year rip the headliner out and pull the complete sunroof asembly. make sure you get the wiring harness with it. Then put that in your car (will take a lot longer to put it in your car because you will have to be careful with the headliner and intereor parts. It shouldnt take you longer than about 4 hours to take out the old one and put the new one in assuming that you are mechanically inclined. this will be the most cost effective way to fix it. if you have any questions feal free to e-mail me at [email protected]. Chris
it all depends on whose doing it, and if you have the right tools. but if your someone who knows what there doing it shouldnt take longer then about hour and half-2 hours if everything goes smoothly. but it just all depends on if you have help and no what your doing.
