SOURCE: I am having problems setting up coralife aqualight power center

You need to plug them into the two yellow outlets, not the blue ones. The blue outlets are for night lights if you have them. Set the timer for 6 and stop at 12am. If you plug them into the two yellow outlets they should go on at 6 and turn off at 12, however If you also plug something into the blue outlets they will turn on as soon as the yellow outlets turn off, it's sopposed to switch from your day lights to your night moon lights automatically provided you got the moon lights plugged in the blue outlets. Hope this helps....

2) Stanley-Westinghouse timers have 1 year limited warranty, but unknown who you contact for warranty service.
Buy Woods, Intermatic, or GE timers instead.

3) Do not exceed watt rating.
Make sure bulbs are operable.
Try different bulb in same timer output to see if outlet has power.
Buy timers at local store for ez return and exchange.
Try on different outlet.
Test outlet for 80% rated voltage.

Samsung un46f6300 does not turn on

Does the power on led burn?
If not, check if the power cable is inserted in the wall outlet. Check if the wall outlet has any power, by plugging in a lamp or so. Then check if the power cable is correct inserted in your flat panel TV.
Still no light, perhaps the cable is defect. If you have a power led burning on the TV, try switching it on manually, not by the remote.
To check the remote control, use a smart phone or a digital camera. Hold the front of the remote control in front of the camera lens and while the camera is on, press the on / off button on the remote. Look at the display if from the remote control is coming some light. If not, replace the batteries in the remote control. Or if the remote control is new, perhaps you should put in some batteries?

HP Compaq NC8430: Laptop does not want to charge battery

Take the battery out, plug in the charger and see if the laptop works. If it works, the battery may be the problem. Check the AC Adapter
Check to make sure the adapter is plugged securely into the wall outlet, connected firmly to the adapter box and to the back of your laptop. Most AC adapters have a little light in them on that rectangular box in the middle of the cord that lights up when it's getting electricity. If that light isn't on, try a different outlet. Check your fuse or circuit breaker box and plug a different device into that outlet to make sure there is power to it. If it still does not light up, your adapter could need replacing. Also check the adapter box for signs of warmth, as it will generate heat when it's plugged in. No heat means no power.

Remove the Battery Sometimes it's as simple as a seated battery. Remove the battery entirely and clean out any dust, lint or hair that may be clogging the connectors and preventing a proper connection. Reseat the battery securely and make sure the little locking pins that hold your battery in place are securely fastened and there is no movement.

My GE Universal Remote stopped working. I tried new batteries and reprogramming but cannot get the indicator light to stay on after I hit "TV"; therefore, I cannot input the code.

Try removing the new batteries and pressing all the buttons then reinstall the batteries and try again. Sometimes remotes get hung up due to a stuck button

I need the codes for panasonic tv for my jumbo remote

If you are referring to the Jumbo Remote, the codes can be found on the website at http://www.jumboremotecontrol.com/remote_control_code_list.html.

To program the remote, use the following steps:

Program a Manual Code:

1. First turn on the device that you want to program such as your TV or DVD player.

2. Point your remote control at the device.

3. Press the button on the remote that corresponds to the device. If you want to program the TV, press the TV button.

4. Press the "Code Search" button for about 3 seconds until the light stays on.

5. Enter the code for your device using the number pad. The light will blink each time you push a button. If the code works, the light will turn off. If the light flashes, that means the code did not work. There may be multiple codes for a device. If a code does not work, start from the beginning by holding down code search until the light stays on and use a new code.

6. Press the power button to test if your device turns off. It it does not turn off, repeat the process with a new code.

Here are the codes that they list as being potentially applicable to your television:

003,051,055,062,070,148,170,171

Good luck!

2006 Dodge Dakota - power outlet doesn't work. The #28 fuse checks fine.

Take a 12v test light and wrap the probe with electrical tape, leave about
1/4" exposed. With the key on, ground the test light wire and insert the
probe into the outlet and touch it to the center power contact. If the light
stays out and you have a good ground, you don't have +power at the
outlet. If the fuse is good, you may have a bad wire or socket. But if it
lights up, we go to the next step. Touch the probe to a known +power
source and ground the wire to the metal side in the outlet. If you don't
get light, check the ground for the outlet socket. Repair as needed.
If it lights up, then you know you have power and ground. Check the
plug on the device you're trying to use. I hope I was of some help.
Good luck.

Batteries don't charge. I have a new battery, and neither of the old or new batteries work in the charger. I get flashing lights only, sometimes red, sometimes green, but in the end, the battery isn't...

Dust getting in the charger is a problem, Try blowing it out with a moisture-free dust remover, found at most any store. Green flashing means improper power, due to dust or power from the outlet, try a differant wall outlet. Red flashing means the charger or battery is to hot and must cool down before it will charge. The charger will not charge a battery if the lights are flashing. Solid Red light means it is charging and solid green light means it is charged. Plug the charger in first before putting the battery on the charger. If the charger has been droped or hit the floor the coil inside could have broke loose and dammaged the charger requiring it to be replaced.

Laptop is plugged in but red light stays on. The outlet is working fine, but message on computer window says I still need to change the battery or plug it in to an outlet. Does this mean my battery is...

the answer to your question is possibly. Remove the power cord then remove the battery. Use the eraser on a pencil to clean the contacts on the battery and on the computer where the contacts are made. Replace the battery and charge it up over night. If that doesn't solve the problem you will have to get a new battery.

Dometic control comfort control will not turn heat on or off

I had the same problem. I fixed it by turning off the battery switch to disconnect the battery from the power panel. I then had to turn off the main 110 breakers to shut down the converter. Once all the power was turned off the LED light went off. When I turned the power back on the remote was working fine. Hope this works for you.
