I can't seem to print a 13" wide paper on my Epson workforce 1100. The printer just sends the paper through. All other sizes work fine. Anything else I can do?
I have printed 11"x17" without a problem, but the 13"x 19" doesn't work. The paper light comes on and the paper is sent through without printing. The paper is thicker photo paper, but a smaller size prints fine. Any suggestions? Epson advertises that this printer will print up to 13". help!

Check paper tray it might have a movable plastic thing that sets the paper size . Check printer properties on settings - printers - Epson Workforce printer properties. Check software you are printing from that it has page setup and printer setup paper size set correctly
You need to start with photo glossy paper that's designed for an Epson printer. HP paper may not work well, and some other papers don't work either. Try some Epson paper, and that should work fine.
You can also try other paper settings, such as "transparency" or "matte paper", as the paper setting governs how much ink is laid down. I think getting the right paper is really what you need, though. Ink "puddling" is a common Epson complaint, and it's almost always the paper.
normally most printers even like mine an epson NX110 will use color then black when using text but with grayscale only your forcing it to use black ink more and no color ink set in normal mode some color ink does get used ironically but it is normal for it to use color some as it reserves the black ink being used
On the Epson website it is confirmed that the Epson WorkForce 610 will not recognize transparency media. It is just the way the printer works; if it can see through the media, it doesn't think it's there.
However.....you can tape a sheet of white paper to the non-printable side of the transparency, and it prints just fine. I put two strips of scotch tape on either side, top and bottom. Works great. It's kind of a hassle, but better than not being able to print transparencies at all!
