I guess your battery is faulty. It may be a result of overcharging which may have caused the battery to be bloated. High voltage from the charger could also have been a reason for the battery's fault.

For this case, I believe your battery is in-built into your tablet. I suggest taking it a repair centre. Also, avoid charging or using as as it may lead to electrical circuit faults which may cause sparks within the tablet.

My Kindle Fire HD is frozen. It says that there is 96% battery. I don't know if I'm supposed to disconnect the battery (which I cannot access) or what. Help!

You can try holding down the power button to see if it gives a menu to turn off the device. If not, you can also try plugging in the power to see if that unfreezes the screen. If neither of those work, you can let the device run out of battery and then charge it again, as it will restart the system after losing the battery and gaining a charge again. After it runs out of battery and you have it charged again, you will need to hold the power button to turn it back on

My tablet wont turn on or charge

Unplug the Battery, hold the Power button for 10 seconds to discharge any capacitors, Plug the battery back in, Charge the tablet until the battery reaches 100% (Factory Charger preferred), Turn it on. If this doesn't work it could be a bad battery, bad charger or bad USB connector.7 Jan 2014

My RCA tablet won't turn on and will not charge, what can I do?

If battery is depleted, then no, it will not turn on.

If battery charger is dead, phone won't charge or turn on.
If battery charger cable is broken, tablet won't charge or turn on.

You need to ensure you have a good working charger, and a good cable. Only a known good charger and a known good cable can charge the unit. Borrow or invest in a new charger and cable (they're cheap on eBay).

Only once you know the charger and cable are good can you determine that they are not the problem.

Depending on how old the unit is, it's possible the battery can no longer hold a charge and needs to be replaced. You won't know that though until you first determine the charger and cable you're using are working properly and providing a good charge.

How can I get my Samsung Galaxy Tablet to turn on. The battery is fully charged.

There is usually a method such as holding the on button for a longer period of time. If it is easy to do the other thing that I've found with all sorts of "smart" devices which turn "not-so-smart" is to remove the battery for a minute or so, then put it back in. Many times the unit will turn on as soon as the battery is reinstalled and work correctly again after that. Last ditch effort, unless someone knows about the Galaxy, is a hard reset, there may be a reset button somewhere on the unit, I don't think the Galaxy has a reset button. If the unit still does not turn on it may need servicing.
1. Try the on button for 15 - 20 seconds if you know it is charged
2. Try charging for an hour or two then the 15-20 second hold on button, #1 above.
3. Removed battery (I'd measure the battery voltage while I have it out) wait ~1 - 2 minutes & reinstall the battery. If it doesn't turn on by itself try #1.
4. Nothing works start a service ticket with Samsung, URL:
http://support-us.samsung.com
You might try searching there as well for an answer to see if there's anything I missed.

After purchasing this product, how long do you have to let it charge before you can turn it on to use it?

First lesson here in charging 101: read your info on what u got. In most of them it tells you to turn it on and use it until the item you got dies then you charge it, you can turn it on if u want to see it charging but don't play on it. An it's best to do when you can watch it, so charging it overnight is NOT good, because it will be done before you wake and over charging is not good. It makes the battery weak so holding a charge gets less and less over time. Never leave your cord in the wall when it's not charging your item. Power from the wall is still running through it and slowly frying it. Thats why people go thought many cords for one item. The reason for the first battery kill and then a full charge is a stronger battery life. It gives your battery about (but don't hold me to it) a 15% increase on life. So back to your question. It depends on the item and battery life it has when u pull it from the box. In most cases battery is about half full. Plus charging from a outlet lets say to a car charging is better and faster for your item. When most battery's are being made and tested in factory's it is a outlet that is being used. So most info on timing a charge is based on info gathered From tests done from a outlet
