SOURCE: DS broken in half

I recommend you to change the broken case, you can choose to change only the hinge and keep the good case parts or change the entire shell. By the way stores usually sell the entire shell so you can choose. As your screens are still working you are lucky because so often the brown flexible conductor to the top screen get broken so be careful.

You can also use a silicon or hard plastic case to put over your broken NDSL to keep it in place just as the fast non technical option.

Here are some links and you can find text and video guides googling around.

SOURCE: Metallic-like cardboard insert inside microwave is crumbling???

That piece is called the waveguide cover. Emerson calls it a spatter shield. Behind it is the hole where the microwaves enter the oven. Its job is to prevent food spatters from getting into the microwave source, and it's not a good idea to run the oven without it.

The cover is usually held in place by a plastic rivet that pulls out. I couldn't find the part number for the cover used in your model. But here is a link to a parts place that has several covers available:

http://www.a-1catalog.com/wavandstirco.html

If one of the covers shown looks like yours you can order it. Another possibility is to contact Emerson at 800-695-0098. This is the number they give to locate authorized servicers near you, and you might be able to order a replacement cover through them.

Hope this has helped. If so, please take a moment to rate the solution. Thanks for asking here!

Lint screen won't go down all teh way.

take the metal duct out that the lint filter slides down into, stick the metal strip through the hole in the side of the duct so that when it's in the bottom part of strip is flush up against the back side wall of duct and it should have like a half inch or so sticking out of the hole, but before you stick it in clean out the duct and with a thin long screw driver open the plastic cover that the filter slides through and poke out any lint in the slots that the filter slides in.so unplug the dryer, remove the bottom panel of dryer, remove the lint filter and screws that hold the lint filter duct in place they are 1/4 inch head screws, clean out the duct and the side slots up above the duct in the plastic area then slide the metal strip into the hole so that the bottom part that you first put into the hole fits flush up against the back inside wall of duct and the top of strip will be flush to the outside wall of duct and like around 1/2 inch or so still showing.hope this helps

Repair ACER Keyboard

Many a times, laptop's keys fell off the keyboard or it gets damaged. Don't fret on buying a whole new keyboard when you can repair the keys yourself.
This is an installation guide to repair keys of Acer’s laptop keyboard.

To install the key on your laptop keyboard, start out by observing the metal plates on the keyboard.

Always be sure to look at the metal keys because they differ in every keyboard. The larger metal hooks can be at the top, bottom, right or left side. The position of the metal hooks determines the position of plastic pieces.

Take the smaller plastic piece and observe that it has two holes at the top, two sticks at the middle and a bar with larger hole at the bottom. The sticks in the middle are going to go into the middle holes of the larger plastic piece. The bottom bar is going to click onto the bottom metal hook on the keyboard. I locked my keys in my 04 tahoe

ok this is what you do to get in without AAA or a locksmith. find a long piece of metal bendable wire. (metal coat hanger) and make it striaght and make a hook on the end of it. Next find a wedge (door wedge works). put the wedge in the side of the door. where the front door meets the rear door. and push it in to slightly open the door. Its easiest to insert to wedge at the top side corner near the top of the window and slide the wedge down to near the door handle to make the opening wider. next (with the wedge stuck in the door crack) slide the long metal wire into the opening at the top of the door corner and either press the unlock switch or grab the door handle and open the car. good luck! hope this helps ya

I want to open the cannister to work on the cord rewinder but I don't want to force it and I am unable to locate/see how the back latches work.

This should really be done by an authorized Aerus Electrolux servich technician. I've seen quite a few dismantled machines come into the shop because the owner couldn't figure out how to put it back together properly. And the cordwinder can be even more difficult. The service techs really don't like to put together a dismantled machine.
There are no back latches.

However, to open the canister:
You will need a flathead screwdrive and a hammer.
1. Remove bag
2. Lay on one side, with bag door open all the way
3. Push tip of screwdriver in the back of side rubber strip.
4. Use hammer to hit screwdrive toward front of vacuum.
5. When strip is 5-6 inches out, grasp with fingers and and slide gently out the front of vacuum.
6. Repeat for other side.
7. Lay machine on it's top and lift bottom half of canister off top half.
8. You now have access to cordwinder. I suggest you take notes as you go so you remember where everything goes.

Putting it back together isn't this easy.

How to repair laptop key

If your keys fell off from your keyboard, you can easily repair it by following the installation guide below.

You should have a key cap, one large and one small plastic pieces (retainer clips).

Always be sure to look at the metal keys because they differ in every keyboard. The larger metal hooks can be at the top, bottom, right or left side. The position of the metal hooks determines the position of plastic pieces.

Take the larger plastic piece, it must have two larger sticks at either sides that are going to click onto the larger metal hooks on the keyboard.

Take the small plastic piece. It must have a small bar on one side that is going to click onto the smaller single metal hook on the keyboard.

Place the smaller piece on the larger piece and insert its sticks to the holes of larger piece. Make it one piece.

Put the plastic piece into the metal holes on the keyboard. Push it evenly to insert completely. Get a thin object or blade and stretch the plastic pieces so that it clicks together.

Take your letter key, put it in the middle and push down evenly from all four sides.

That's all.

Can't open the bloody thing .... to check the power terminals connection

I strongly suggest not opening it. Although it is simple to open if one knows how, there can be difficulties getting it put back together correctly. And generally problems are due to things other then wiring connections.
However, to open, open bag door and remove bag. Place machine on one side with the door open. Insert flat head of a screwdrive into the space at back end of the rubber strip on side of machine. Using a hammer, gently hit the screwdriver shaft until strip slides forward about 4-6". Grab front end of strip and pull forward. Repeat with other side. Place vacuum on it's top, grasp bottom half of case, and lift. With some manipulation it should come off fairly easily.
Reassembling is a bit more difficult.
Be aware that shops will usually charge more to reassemble a vacuum if they didn't take it apart or repair it.

THE LONG PLASTIC STRIPS DOWN THE SIDES HAS A TRACK IN IT. YOU MUST OPEN THE DOOR AND PULL (SLIDING) THE STRIPS OFF THE TRACK LONG WAYS AND THE TOP HALF WILL SEPERATE FROM THE BOTTOM HALF. BEWARE THE WIRING INSIDE IS JUST LONG ENOUGH AND CAN DISCONNECT EASY. IM PRETTY SURE YOU HAVE TO DO THIS TO GET TO THE BOARD INSIDE.
