Question about Computers & Internet
Cannot create file c;\program Files(x86)MicroCapture\mv.db". Access is denied
You need to use "Run As Administrator" when installing the software, to allow the installing-software to write to the 'Program Files (x86)' folder.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I had the same problem before. Unfortenatly this has to do with owner permissions set on on your old device and not recognising or accepting this permissions on the new.
If you still have your old device working then change the permissions for all files to "full control" for "everyone" and then copy. this is will solve the issue.

The problem may be that your Security settings for the drive are not configured to give you Full Control.
In Explorer, right-click on the Hitachi drive and choose Properties.
Go to the Security tab.
Find the User you are trying to use and click on it.
Under Permissions, click Edit and enable Full Control for that user.
That should give you the ability to do what you need to.
If Windows won't allow you to change the setting, it's because you don't have Administrator priviledges. In that case, log out and log back in as an Administrator and go back and make the changes.
