The dreaded snow snake is responsible for tripping people on ice.
Building its snow bank den against your front door so you can't open it.
Burrowing under your tires so you can't get out of your drive way.
Snow snakes for the most part afflict those uneducated to the ways of nature and are pets of old timers full of mischief.

Your engine adjusts to changing loads by opening up the throttle via the engine governor. But, if your main jet is partially blocked than opening the throttle does not add the needed fuel to compensate for the increased load. I would recommend a good off engine carb cleaning of the main jet passage and fuel bowl. Some carbs have main jets that are part of the fuel bowl nut. So taking off the bowl will allow you to clear the jet and clean the bowl with little effort. Use a fine piece of hard wire *(I use a short piece of thin guitar string) To snake out the main passage. I see HV engines may have Honda style carbs which have a screw in main jet sitting inside the carb. You can still snake it out but you will need a small flat blade driver to extract the jet if you really want to see the job through, You can snake it out on the unit but you will only know if it is clean by running the motor. But it does work! Be safe and good luck!

no, we used to blame "snow snakes" for making us fall down on the ski slopes. the flat-landers would look around while we got back up and cruised down the mountain. it was a way to try and not look stupid.

The drain line is mostly likely clogged.

You need to find the drain line and try snaking the line out with either compressed air or a fairly sturdy length of wire.

Taking the face of the evaporator fan off would probably help with finding the drain. Unplug the fridge while doing this so you arent working around live fans or the defroster!

Good luck and be careful.
