My sansui tv have a problem.transister 4460 getting short after replace output voltage drop stand by realese

Check and replace damaged component/s at its horizontal scan output section circuit. Check the LOT (Line Output Transformer) too for damage. Replace the horizontal scan output transistor. Check the input voltage to LOT. If the voltage is absent check the feeder resistor; if any. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. TV MODEL :SANSUI HARD ROCK 21'' PROBLEM : TIME TO TIME ONE HORIZONTAL LINE COMING WITH BLACK SCREEN

Hi The problem of your teevision is what we called the vertical line problem. The problem is in the vertical section of the board. There are many of cause of that problem.First is either loose connection, the circuit at the vertical section have cold solder so its need to resolder using soldering iron.Second,it maybe no vertical supply, its better to check the 12 volts dc supply of vertical ic output.if thers no supply in the ic,there a open resistor near the flyback.try to replace.Third if theres no loose connection and have a voltage supply the problem is either leaked capacitor or deffective vertical ic output. Commonly in that problem is the loose connection, try to resolder the verical section.
