I have Phonax hearing aids with an adaptable device called I-com which I wear around my neck to enable me to hear the TV sounds. At present I am only getting sounds in my left ear. I've had it for several years and it is not working correctly???

Why do I have a problem with my Phonax hearing aids in department stores that have security devices to enter

The security devices emit a high pitched frequency that I can hear and I don't have hearing aides.

Have a hearing problem need my personal external wireless speaker

Hi Lloyd:
I'm singing the same music and am fortunate to have Hearing aids. (Connect Hearing is name of company).
The hearing aids come with a control device that I wear like a necklace......... It pairs to my phone so it works like a bluetooth and I have hands free phone.
Here's the answer for your dilemma.......
It also pairs to a device that is connected to the TV. It gives me sound through to the hearing aids, and also lets me mute the TV so my wife doesn't have to listen if she's not interested.
It is also possible that some (or all) of the costs may be covered if you were exposed to occupational noise or conditions that contributed to your hearing loss.
The people at the hearing aid clinic will coach you through the process. In some instances they even do consultations at no cost or it may be covered by your medical if you are referred by your Doctor.
Sure can't hurt to give them a call.

Can't get my TV listening device to work

It looks like you may have a Sennheiser 840S. There is a t-coil option, however, you can plug in any standard headset to the port on the side and use the device without your hearing aids. It's port #5 on page 2.

Hearing aids keep shutting down. Batteries get wet.

First you should probably keep your hearing aid and battery away from water.I suggest taking it out while in the shower/bath and cover your head with a hood or umbrella while out on a rainy day.If battery keeps shutting down then replace the old battery with a new one.If problem keeps accorring then maybe its time to take your hearing aid into your local hearing aid repair and let them solve the whole issue with why it keeps shutting down
