Tightening the front axle of my Intruder 1400.

Your front wheel is not something that you want to take a chance on not being installed correctly. It sounds to me like you're missing a spacer. You should be able to tighten The axle up to 90 pounds and it should still move freely. If a spacer is missing or on the wrong side of the bike it will stop the wheel from spinning. Be safe !

Front wheel s making humming noise

sounds like a wheel bearing assembly to me. i would have the clearance checked at a jeep dealer. if you can rock the wheel gently while moving forward and the sound fades and comes back, definitely a wheel bearing assembly.

Maisto Rock Crawler stopped working when drove thru puddle

Nothing Works? My guess is you might have fried the circuit board. if that is the case you can either junk the car or replace the board if you can find a replacement one. Also, you might want to check that the batteries are firmly in place and no obstructions to connection.

Maisto rock crawler. How do you remove the rear wheels? Front wheels have a phillips screw - easy; back ones look to be riveted on?

I am fairly certain the rear wheels can be removed with a 7 mm socket, but not sure if I remember correctly. They can be removed easily though. I am sure of it. it is just a matter of finding the correct socket size.

Front right side grinding sound

Possibly a wheel bearing. Get the wheel on that side off of the ground safely, and then grab the tire at the 12 and 6 o'clock positions and try to rock it back and forth.

If there is more than just a little movement, you need either ball joints or a wheel bearing.

One side front wheel bearings need changed How do I know which?

It may be your alignment but if it is wheel bearings jack up the front of the vehicle and try to rock or shake the wheels by hand if there is play or it does move it is your wheel bearings
