Problem for AEG L12700ViT Front Load All-in-One Washer / Dryer
Underwire stuck in the drum!

When machine is on there is an awful noise and I suspect there is an underwire stuck in the drum. Can see it sitting at the bottom through the holes when looking inside with a torch but dont know how to get into the drum to remove it. Do you remove the front door seal (cause this seems to be secured really well) or do you get into the drum by taking off the rear panel? Last time this happened I paid £30 for a repair man to remove it from the filter and would rather fix it myself if possible.

Switch the power off
Drain off the water by putting the rear drain hose into a bucket
Take off any clips which secure it to the back panel to make sure you get as much water out as possible.
Tip the machine back and rest it on a couple of cushions look underneath and you will see a large black hose coming from the bottom of the drum to the pump.
If the hose is on the front of the drum then tip the machine forward so that the wire is more inclined to fall to the front of the machine
Remove the clip from the hose and pull the hose off
You should then be able to reach the wire
Make sure that when you put the hose back on that it is fully up against the drum and that the clip is secure
