Are you running it through chrome? Chrome sometimes has issues running certain games and you need to run them through Internet Explorer for them to work properly

SOURCE: game keeps shutting down while playing

An update might not solve the problem. It could be that you have a dual-core processor. Some of the older games will only run with a single processor active. Here is how to disable the second processor core:
Open the start menu, click on Run,type in msconfig and click on OK

In the System Configuration window click on the start sub menu and the on Advanced Options button.

In the second window that appear, you should be provide with an option for enabling and disabling the number of processors you want to use. You need to select "1" for the NUMPROC box.

Validate your entry by clicking on OK.

Restart your PC and it should be fine.

When you are through playing Primal Prey you can follow the same procedure but select "normal startup" and restart your computer.

Hope this solves the problem.

Pogo.com want load at all...just a blinking screen

Hello there and welcome to fixya
If games on Pogo don't load for you, load very slowly, or give errors such as 'Please wait, Loading,' see below for information on the most common causes (and links to instructions on how to address them). It could be as simple as clearing your Java Cache or Browser Cache, or it could be related to other programs such as firewalls and anti-virus programs

First, let's try to rule out some specific issues (If you're a Mac user, please try this FAQ.):
  • If you are trying to play one of our Flash games, like Poppit!, Word Whomp, Mahjong Safari, Family Feud, Claire Hart: Soul Searcher, just to list a few, and they will not load then you may need to install the latest version of Flash. To install the latest version of Flash simply go here and follow the instructions - http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
  • Does the game that won't load have a Weekly Challenge going on, especially on Wednesdays?

If you can rule the above issues out, here are the next troubleshooting steps to try:
If Java is installed on your machine but not enabled

If you're still having issues and you're certain that Java is installed on your machine, it may be disabled. All mainstream browsers have an option for enabling Java, which ensures any applets that use it will function properly. For a complete list of per-browser instructions for enabling Java, visit http://www.java.com/en/download/help/enable_browser.xml.

Here's what to do if clearing your java cache/browser cache and making sure your Java is updated, doesn't resolve the issue.

Anti-Virus Programs/Firewalls and Pogo

The most common causes of problems that players encounter when playing our games are simply caused by anti-virus, firewall, ad blocking, and pop-up blocking software. The easiest way to determine if one or more of these is the cause of the problem is to simply disable them and see if the problem goes away. If the problem goes away, then the next step is to figure out how to configure the software to still protect your system without preventing you from playing our games. In this case, you should refer to the software's manual or help files for detailed instructions on how to make the desired changes to the software.

Some common symptoms of this include:
  • "Cripes!" Errors
  • "Server too Busy" Errors
  • Cards disappear or do not appear
  • Other graphics do not appear or are distorted
  • "Game Loading" indicator never goes away
  • Profiles never appear
  • Table windows never open

There are also several types of maintenance steps that can be taken on a regular basis to try and prevent problems from occurring. This includes deleting Temporary Internet Files / Browser Cache and deleting Game Objects. We only officially support a few browsers as they are the most common and compatible with our site. They are: Internet Explorer 8 and 9, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Safari for Mac OS X (and later versions of these browsers as applicable). If you do a search on the help site for "Cache," you will find instructions on how to clear the cache for those browsers.

Why i cannot play my game there a promlem with adobe? promlem any games i cannot open it what happen? thanks hope u can help me

If you are getting a message about Adobe, then you probably need to update to the latest version. You can get it here:
http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
You must first uninstall any and all versions of prior "Flash Player" before your new download installation. When you go to install the new player, you must be out of, or, get out of any apps, that access the Internet, A window will pop up and tell you what to get out of to continue and, you can minimize the download while you get out, then go back and finish. Things that will affect your download are things like MSN Messenger, some of the Yahoo mails, etc. Durring download you may also be asked, with a pop up bar, at the top of your screen to allow Active X, which you will nned to do. If it is easier for you, you can save to file, then exit all apps, open file and download. Another thing that you should have and, maybe do is Java. You can get that here:
http://www.java.com/en/
If you already have Java, make sure it's updated. You can do this by going into your "control panel", where you should see a "java" icon. Right click on the icon, open, then click on the update tab and allow.

Social city will not load. the screen is green with no grids, buildings. nothing. how do i fix it.

There are a number of things you may need to do in order for Social City to work properly - there have been quite a few bugs with the application reported by other users.
  1. Clear your cache. Internet browsers store temporary data on your system to make websites load faster. Links on how to clear your browser's cache are given below:
  • Mozilla Firefox: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/clearing+private+data
  • Internet Explorer 7 or 8: http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows/en-US/Help/1D862C06-AEB3-403A-8B58-2A76C8C676911033.mspx
  • Internet Explorer 6: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/ie6/using/howto/customizing/clearcache.mspx
  • Google Chrome: http://www.google.com/support/chrome/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=95582
  • Apple Safari: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=Safari/3.0/en/9265.htm
2. Update your Flash and Java. This will ensure your web browser can run the highest level graphics demanded by the game. You can update them here:
  • Adobe Flash: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
  • Java: http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp
3. Make sure your Operating System (OS) files are up-to-date:
  • Windows XP: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/windowsupdate/learn/windowsxp.mspx
  • Windows Vista: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/windowsupdate/learn/windowsvista.mspx

Java works best with Mozilla firefox and google chrome. I suggest you head over to either of their respective websites and download browser. Once downloaded, install and use that browser to play these games.

your java will most likely need to be updated or it is disabled in the internet explorer. try using FIREFOX instead of internet explorer. this is faster more secure and will allow java to run.
