Table saw blade alignment

Are you referring to the table top or rip fence alignment? The blade itself is not aligned. We adjust the table to parallel with blade and the rip fence should toe away from blade 0.01mm over the length of the rip fence to prevent binding.

I cannot attach the anti kickback device to my dewalt 10 inch table saw.

If you lost the instruction manual go to dewaltservicenet.com and you can download them, but in the meantime there is a lever that removes the guard lift up on it and then towards the back is a slot for the pawls, depress the button on them and insert into the slot making sure they lock replace the guard and make sure everything moving freely up and down movement of the saw and free movement of the other safety devices. Let me know if you need more assistance.

Blade is slightly closer to fence in back causing the material to kick back.

Hi Ken,
Sounds like you need to to adjust your fence.I use the blade from a combination square.Place the steel blade next to the saw blade(between the carbide teeth).Next loosen the fence lock, loosen the two hex bolts on the rear pinion assembly so that the fence can move side to side.Move the fence up to the combo blade and adjust the fence and lock the fence lock.Check for blade and fence for true.Tighten the hex bolts at the rear pinion bearing assembly. Thank You for choosing FixYa.com.

I am getting very bad kickback about 3/4 the way through my cuts. I have a new blade on the saw. I dont really know how to troubleshoot this.

Possible that the fence you are using is not on a true parallel line with the blade and as a result it is causing the wood to pull into the blade causing kickback. I would do an alignment procedure on the fence to make it as true to the blade as possible.

Rip fence to saw blade alignment

I dont believe there are pictures, but what you need to do is move the fence to the blade, there are 2 10MM bolts on the backside that you need to loosen and then you can move the fence to square with the blade. Snug them down and move the fence and recheck let me know if you have anymore problems

Need fence for radial arm saw

Most guys will attach a sacrificial particleboard sub top about 24" deep (per model) then towards the back of the saw attach a 3-4" square particle board rip, screw it down, then attach a 5/4 to 6/4 square maple fence approx. 4" tall and attach that to the 3-4" wide rip of particle board. then place a additional particleboard top in front of the maple fence. That will give you a 3-1/4" tall fence. all you would need to do is sqare it to the blade and attach it to the saw. Hope this helps

Blade Alignment?

ok yep your blade is out of alignment with the fence. It is closer to the fence at the rear than the front. You need to make the modification or adjustment to your fence, if it allows that, and then worry about the miter slots later (which should be adjusted miter slot to blade, not miter slot to fence). You might be able to adjust the miter slot to blade by moving the actual table and then securing witht he table mount bolts. Check your manual for how to align the fence.

You do want to fix that though as it can be potentially dangerous and result in kickback of the workpiece which is a rather SCARY thing, and very dangerous.
