Sometimes generators loose their magnetic property. I have had this problem with my generator before and what I did was to apply 12 volts across both brush contacts then pull the starter cord then disconnect the 12 volt source. Hopefully it should work then.

How can i reduce the power output of my black max electric generator, is damaging my 60walt bulbs.

The revolutions per minute are probably too high. You will need the appropriate screwdriver and a volt meter to adjust. Possibly have another person help you. Connect the volt meter to the output with the generator running. Locate the speed adjusting screw on the carburator and adjust it one way or the other until the voltage on the voltmeter reads 125volts. Before yoy begin adjusting the carburator take note the position of the screw and then count the turns in the event you have to return to the place you started.
Good Luck

Low output about 60 vac.

On the bottom right side of the engine there's a throttle with a set screw. This set screw is a fine adjustment for voltage control. The lever should be pushed until the set screw makes contact with the stop plate. Using a voltage meter, adjust the set screw until you hit 110 volt and then lock the set screw. I just bought the same generator, it was putting out 85 volts. Witha phillips screwdriver a wrench and a multi meter, I had 110 volts in less than 2 minutes. It now operates flawlessly.

The generator works fine but there is no power output coming out of the 110 and 240 output

Look for a 'slip ring' assembly that turns against brushes when the alternator turns. Make sure the brushes are in good condition and have spring tension to hold then to the slip rings. Look for tripped breakers. Make sure the mechanical connection is intact between the engine and alternator. Service beyond this requires a schematic, or wiring diagram and the knowledge of what the diagram is telling you. Many of these units have circuit boards that control voltage output. Good luck!

How do I connect multiple (two or more) 3 phase ac power sources (from wind turbine alternators) to a single 3 phase junction to power one device?

what did you mean by single 3 phase? single phase motor have two wire output 110-110, 3 phase gen have 3 wires 110-110-110. if only two wires here ,this is single phase, all appliances are only single phase so you can connect it here, except some 3 phase motor or dynamo. the ac current has no polarity so you can connect to it all kinds of load depends upon the amperage of of your turbine generators

EP739 projector has been overheating the last 6 months.

Its getting old...and generating more heat...
There are fans inside the projector that **** in ambient
air and blow it across the parts...A quick fix might be
to lower the room temperatrue a few degrees...or
you could get a small fan, place it along side the projector
and have it blow additional air into the projector...

The projector is running at borderline temperature...

Also, make sure it is on a flat hard surface...and not
resting on a cloth or towel or rug...there isn't much space
between the bottom of the projector...to **** air in...and it
needs all that space...

You may want to make sure the AC line voltage is 110 -120 VAC
even a slight drop in this voltage will cause the projector to run
less efficient which means running hotter...

2 generators 1000 watts invertors

NO! DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS. The problem is that you cannot maintain the phase relationship between them. Both of the generators must turn at precisely the same speed and precisely together - which is virtually impossible without connecting the two generators together on a common shaft, which would be impractical to the point of ridiculous.

Yamaha DTXtreme IIS Drum Moduel repair

Listen to the output with headphones to check for noise.

OFTEN the output of a drum machine is CORRUPTED by an inadequate sound system. The waveforms generated by a drum machine tax the sound systems. A bass drum output can drive the speaker cone such that it goes beyond the linear range that the speaker and amplifier can handle and this appears as "noise". The noise may sound like a buzz or totally break up.

Turn the volume down and see if EXACTLY the same noise appears at low levels. If not, then saturation of the amp and speaker is likely. Continued use while it is doing that will often destroy the speaker.

I want to make my 110 volt generator into 220 volt

most generators have a 220 volt plug on them from the factory, if it is a small one it might not have the capabilities of 220. If it has the 220 plug then you will just need to wire the proper 220 male end onto whatever you are trying to run.
