Check the link first before going forward!
The next step is more involved and you may want to call for service. Normally you will find a wiring diagram attached to the dryer, take a look underneath or some are found by removing the back cover. Take a look at the wiring diagram to see if there is a temperature duct sensor wired in, I would suggest changing the senor, but only after you check the link and call the support center found at the link!

SOURCE: no air flow no blockage

did you put the vent back together right, it might be as simple as a wire came off while doing the bearings, check all connetions on your wires first it is a seald system on the exhaust, so the fan that pulls the air out is the problem

Your flame sensor attached to the side of the heat canister would be suspect. When it opens the flame dies.

Why isn't my dryer drying anymore?

Clear the vent hose to the outdoors- clean the lint trap - if all vents are clear, your temp safety switch is cutting off heat (for a reason) If dryer is 5 yrs orolder - replace with higher rated energy saver - it will pay off.

I have an LG Dryer and keep getting a error message D90 after running for about 10 minutes

D90 means the dryer thinks the vent duct is 90% blocked. Be sure the vent hose is not kinked behind the dryer. I've even disconnected the hose from the dryer and hooked up my leaf blower to blow out the vent as it develops more air pressure than the dryer does.
Here's a great video describing the error code:
Good luck. Hope this helps.

My dryer does not blow hot and will not shut off and no digital reading will display.

Hello Bryan;

My name is Peter. I am a retired field service appliance technician.

So, here are the probable causes:

1.) The blower wheel draws air through the dryer and pushes the air out the vent. If the dryer won't stop, the blower wheel may be plugged up or not be spinning properly, which reduces the air flow. Check to see if the blower wheel is securely fastened to the drive motor shaft. Check the blower hot air discharge manifold for blockage.

2a.) If the dryer won't stop, the gas valve solenoid coils might be defective. Over time these coils will fail, causing the burner to run intermittently. If the dryer is not heating properly it may not stop. Replace the coils as a set.

2.b) The heating element warms the air before the air enters the dryer drum. If the dryer won't stop, it may be because the heating element isn't working - which greatly increases the drying time. Check the heating element for continuity.

3.) Dryer sheets and fabric softener can leave a residue on the lint filter, reducing the air flow. If the dryer won't stop, check to be sure air can flow freely, clean the filter as needed.

4.) Although not as common, if the dryer won't stop it may be because the moisture sensor is either defective or shorted

5.) If the dryer won't stop, check the high limit thermostat. If defective, the high limit thermostat can turn off the heat prematurely, lengthening the time it takes to dry a full load. This is not common.

6.) The cycling thermostat regulates the temperature of the air in the dryer. If the dryer won't stop, it may be caused by a defective cycling thermostat turning off the heat too early. This is not common.

7.) The thermistor senses the temperature of the air in the dryer and cycles the heat on and off. If the dryer won't stop, the thermistor may be defective. This is not common.

F29 error on cabrio

first, check your vent damper outside to make sure it isnt jammed shut or blocked with lint.then make sure its clean and free of dust behind dryer where it air intake is.your problem is either a air flow problem due to dirt or blockage or a sensor defective, wich again is cause by poor maintnance and/or cleanup

Keeps beeping with error message either E12 or Cln

Most dryers have safety features that detect air flow blockage. Check to see if the vent hose is clogged. Considering u just installed it yesterday it sound like the vent hose is clogged. Clear the hose al the way to outside. Sometimes it can be clogged on the exhaust vent on the outside of your house.

Heating element is getting too hot and shutting down dryer

Disassemble the dryer again and check the blower wheel on the motor shaft. It may be slipping.
Also, remove the rear exhaust vent and run a load. The blockage could be in the outside exhaust.

Dryer runs for two hours then will not restart, 30 minutes later in run great for two more hours

Motors are frequently fitted with therm trips to switch them off if they overheat.

Leaving the motor off for a while allows it to cool and thus the motor will start again.

To stop overheating look for the source of the trouble i.e. what is causing the overload. Check the air flow path for blockage (have you lost any socks lately?) Clean all the filters. remove any vent pipe and examined for blockages.

It has a smell when turned on and it is hot on top

Verify that a restricted moisture vent is not the cause of the overheating condition. Pull off the vent hose and verify that it is not plugged with lint and that the air flow coming from the dryer is good. Also verify that the air flow to the outside of the house is good and not restricted with lint. Otherwise it could be an issue with the dryer thermostat causing it to continually heat until it is too hot.
