Question about Televison & Video
I do not have the remote and my 32" flat screen has a blue box on the screen that i can not get rid of, picture inside a picture.
Visco is a value brand, originally built by mitsubishi/nec. When the major companies supercede their sets with newer models, they strip down the original design and put them up for contract to be marketed by third parties. Same basic guts as the polaroid sets. Directv lists a remote code, 10810, for these sets, so you should be able to buy a universal remote that will work this set. It would be much cheaper than trying to find an original remote.

These sets are identical to polaroids, which are terrible. I would not recommend fixing it. They are poorly designed. Parts are hard to come by. It sounds like a video board problem.

SOURCE: Hi I have a VISCO
The orange light typically indicates that it has not detected a video signal. Using your remote, or the front panel buttons, try changing the input source to a known working input. Make sure that your cable from your receiver / dvd player / etc hasn't come loose.
