Visco is a value brand, originally built by mitsubishi/nec. When the major companies supercede their sets with newer models, they strip down the original design and put them up for contract to be marketed by third parties. Same basic guts as the polaroid sets. Directv lists a remote code, 10810, for these sets, so you should be able to buy a universal remote that will work this set. It would be much cheaper than trying to find an original remote.

These sets are identical to polaroids, which are terrible. I would not recommend fixing it. They are poorly designed. Parts are hard to come by. It sounds like a video board problem.

SOURCE: Hi I have a VISCO

The orange light typically indicates that it has not detected a video signal. Using your remote, or the front panel buttons, try changing the input source to a known working input. Make sure that your cable from your receiver / dvd player / etc hasn't come loose.

How do i program my dish network remote ?
Answer The instructions for programming your dish network remote completely depend on the model of your remote. The model of your remote is more than likely located on the back of the remote. You can find more information here:http://tech.dishnetwork.com/departmental...

My tv keeps flickin on and off. sometimes the remote works and sometimes it dont.what can i do?

Hello Malcolm,

That model is sold under several different names but the same model number. These units are well known to have issues with the power supply board and this can cause the exact symptoms you are having. The power supply board can easily be repaired, you just need to replace the defective capacitors on the board. Here is a link to a repair guide for the Visco TV that is the same as your Polaroid model. The repair guide shows what to look for and replace on the power supply board to repair it. I hope this helps.

I have a VISCO 32' tv & lost the remote. Model # VSC-32V1. I need a remote to use to get to the HDMI area. I tried a universal but it only turns it on & does channel.

Check the operation manual and note down the model number and go and fetch it from any electronics shop nearby. These are available freely now in the market.

Screen isn't blue when you turn on its white

The most common cause of white screen and no picture problems on this unit is a failure of the power supply board. Here is a repair guide with full dis-assembly and repair instructions that should be able to get you back going again. This guide is for the Visco TVs but the boards are the same as the Polaroid model

Can't find book for my Visco Codes, need codes to program into remote control.

I wasn't sure of your model, but the manufacturers pretty much keep the same codes from model to model. I found a free downloadable Visco instruction book and the remote codes start on page 42. I'm not sure if it is what you are looking for, but hope it helps.

Tv will not turn on. power light flashing red and blue. june@thecellulitesolution.us

Hello,

This model uses the same power supply that is found in many of the Polaroid TVs. The board is model MLT070AX. The failure you are having is a common problem with this board. The repair is easy if you can solder. Check out this link to an article about how to do the repair.
