Clear the arp cache in the router and TV. Use the automatic setup function on the TV (if available) and set the router to accept incoming requests.

SOURCE: PPPoE over Edimax BR-6104K without a modem

Actually in short  "you NEED A MODEM;"
In order to connect your router you need to connect a modem in "bridge mode'( bridge mode is nothing but a configuration on the modem)..

this is a picture of  rear side of a  router,,, you have to connect the modem into the wan port of the router (above),, and in port number 1,2,3,4 you can connect your computers,

Sounds like you need to 'copy' the mac address of the computer it was orginally hooked to before and put it into the router. Some routers have an option to do this in the settings menu of the router with one click.

SOURCE: My Dynex 4 port router will not communicate with my DSL modem

Have your router clone the MAC Address of your computer. The MAC address is a hardware address on your network card and DSL providers seem to like to bind it to account. What is probably happening is when the router connects to your ISP and asks for an IP address, it looks up your account info and and decides - nope, wrong device. Cloning the MAC address will make them happy. If you are not able to clone the address, call your provider's tech support and ask them to clear the MAC address from your account. Make sure you have the router plugged into the modem and not the computer or you are back to where you started.

SOURCE: after power outage, router will not connect. Cable

It is possible that the router actually got reset in the process.

Dlink setup is I believe. It should say in the manual. If you do go through the setup wizard and it still won't connect, then the power outage may have affected either the firmware or the hardware.

How do i connect my luxor tv to the internet wireless

As far as I know there is only one Luxor TV model that has Internet access (Smart TV) and it comes with a wireless adapter/dongle. Plug the dongle in the USB port of the TV set and follow the instructions in the user guide on how to set up a network connection. Usually, from your remote, go to Menu, Settings and then to Set Up Network Connection. Please be aware that you need to have a wireless modem/router for your home network in order to be able to connect your TV to the internet.

Hope this helps.

Configuring a router is not like fixing something that can be taught in two simple lines instead it requires a lot of hard work and study but here is the catch it is very rewarding also. If you want to configure the router than you have to download the appropriate manual from the following website.

    How to Turn off V-chip

I would suggest searching your Menus on the tv for the option to turn it off. Or search your manual.

most cases will have a parental lock on the chip which is set by the owner.

"Each television set’s V-Chip works a little differently. Once you understand the
definition of each rating and content label, programming and activating the V-Chip is
as simple as following the set-up procedure which can be found in one of two places:
    1) the television on-screen menu options, or 2) the written instruction guide included in
the owner’s manual. The V-Chip will only be activated if you select the option to do so."

Whenever I turn on the television, the GUIDE Plus+™ or GUIDE Plus+ GOLD™ on-screen program guide automatically comes on.
The GUIDE Plus+™ or GUIDE Plus+ GOLD™ on-screen program guide automatically comes up when you use the TV button on the remote to turn on the TV. There are several ways to turn off this function if you wish, depending on your model.
    Option A:
Select the GUIDE Plus+™ Menu from the Main menu.
    Select Setup.
    Select Options.
    Select Off.
    Option B:
Select the GUIDE Plus+™ Menu from the Main menu.
Select GUIDE Plus+™ Auto Display from the GUIDE Plus+ menu.
    Select Off.
    Option C:
Press GUIDE on your remote control.
    Select the Menu bar.
Press the right arrow button to select Setup.
    Choose Review Options.
    Select Off.

I know Option C worked for me!!

Given the many TV models, it's possible that accessing control of this feature in the Program Guide menu may differ on your TV. For specific instructions for your model, see your owner's manual.
