There is a safety switch engaged by the door or lid that cuts off power when open. Check this switch as they often cause this fault.

SOURCE: spinning cycle

Keeping in mind that the soap & bleach gets dispensed into your wash on the second to last rinse cycle and that most all rinse cycles are in cold water. Is your cold water valve screen plugged causing your washer to rinse poorly? Are you using the HE detergent? If not maybe the washer is sudsing up to much and having a hard time rinsing all the suds and bleach out and leaving the clothes soapy.

Fill the washer up with no clothes in it on a cold/cold wash setting does it take a long time to fill the washer up? Also when it is full and agitating is there suds in the washer?

Last suggestion is if the drain is hose is a lot higher than the top of the washer it might have a hard time draining out all of the soap water before the next load

Tried to solve the error 5E of the Samsung washing machine and all remedies in the manual did not work

If there is water still in the drum what you need to do is at the bottom of your washing machine is where the filter is based open the round door and you should see a screw know and a drain funnel , if you have water in the drum pull out the drain funnel and let the water out using a bowl or dish take off the filter plug , using a good torch look into the filter hole and you will see a little fan, clean all around it long nose pliers job done turn power off first colin

Samsung SW60ASP washing machine won't spin or drain

5E is a Drain Error Code.

This can be caused by a clogged filter in the washing machine or a blocked drain line in your house. There can be a few other reasons, but these are the most likely.

If you would like to try to repair it yourself, then follow these instructions:

UNPLUG the washing machine. Repeat, UNPLUG the washing machine!!!

Check the filter in the back of the washing machine on the bottom right-hand corner. Place a shallow dish under the filter. Loosen the filter to drain out the water. Remove the filter and clean it out. Look at where you removed the filter and you will see the water pump impeller. Make sure it can move and isn't locked up. Remove any debris from the impeller.

Replace the filter, and plug in the machine. Try a short wash cycle.
Check for leaks around the filter.

SAMSUNG J1253 ERROR CODE 4E

Did you leave out the complete model number?, If you haven't yet check your water supply, If you changed to or have the auto stop flood hoses some washers cause them to activate.
The wires may be disconnected on the water valve(s) or a valve went bad or the main board went bad, You can use a meter to check that there is voltage going to the valve(s) when you start a fill cycle, Also some washers use a flow meter that checks water flow.

Samsung p1453 will not drain or spin

5E (or SE error) is displayed if the water level frequency detected is 25 KHz or less in the initial phase of the UNB -detecting cycle.

The Water Drain error can be cleared by turning POWER SW OFF and back ON.

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Thank you for using Fixya, and have a nice day.

Want to know what does the SE error on a samsung washing machine model WF7600nas mean

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

Could that be 5E rather than SE? If so it means 'drain error' and I would gently suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor lint tray/filter. So many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters and many machines will not even go to spin or release the door lock if there is any water still left inside.
Here are my complete guidance notes for checking both the drain motor filter and the drain motor ;-0)
-------------------------------------

If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!) and most are held in by a round cover/knob. Sometimes the filter will not come out with the cover and you will have to persuade it to come out to play!

REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT!
It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. If it doesn't work then the motor is malfunctioning!

Hope the filter is the problem and good luck!

My washing machine has a error code 5E tried turning off machine but still the same

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
Samsung '5E' decodes as 'water drain error' (too slow). You can reset it by the start/pause button but I would gently suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor lint tray/filter. So many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters and many machines will not even go to spin or release the door lock if there is any water still left inside.

Error 5e will not empty model number wf-b1456gw Samsung Washing Machine

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

Samsung '5e' means 'water drain error'.
I would suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor lint tray/filter. So many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters. The motor is unable to drain all of the water in the allotted time.
Here are my complete, general pre-typed guidance notes for checking filters and motors ;-0)

Having error code se, have cleaned filter sometimes machine works sometimes it doesnt

5E is displayed if the water level frequency detected is 25 KHz or less in the initial phase of the UNB -detecting cycle. The Water Drain error can be cleared by turning POWER SW OFF and back ON. Clean the filter, check the impeller, and internal drain line. Be sure to also check the drain line and waste pipe for any obstructions.
