This site shows Organ and Schmetz needles but most quality needle brands would be suitable for your machine. A standard 130/705H needle will work. Just be careful as I believe my machine recommends no needles larger than a size 90.

What size needle to use

Use Organ HA x 1SP needles size 90 (14) for general sewing or 75 (11) for light weight fabrics. These are common needles and Amazon carries them. There are other sources. When you choose the needle size, look at your thread relative to the groove in the needle. (The thread should fit in that groove.) I use the Singer Sewing Book for good pictures of the needle to thread size.

Singer has the manuals for the Superlock 2000 ATS on their site. Part 1 of the manual is here: http://www.singerco.com/uploads/download/984_sl-2000-ats-wb-a-x.pdf . All manuals are here: http://www.singerco.com/accessories/instruction-manuals . Enter the model number without the letters after the number.

I hope this helps.

Needle keeps breaking Model 150 Euro=Pro Sew Machine

broken needles can happen if you are pulling the fabric through rather thsn letting feed dogs move it, or if stitch setting needs a wide hole foot but you have straight stitch foot on. could also mean timing between needle and shuttle is out of sync.
or needle size is too small for weight of fabric you are sewing.
check out www.sewing.about.com for needle size info and use new needle for each new project.
if yoy suspect timing out take to technician for fulk service.

I have a sewing machine-single needle model 03914, but I don't how to put the needle for delicate fabric and for thick fabric?

Use size 60 for very fine (chiffon), size 70 for light weights like voile and cotton, 80 or 90 for medium weights such as a broadcloth, size 100 for denim and size 110 for something very heavy like a thick curtain or upholstery weight fabric. If you aren't sure what size to use, try pushing a needle into the fabric you are going to sew with your fingers, if it goes in easily and the hole it leaves is not noticeable then it is okay, if it leaves a big hole, then go down a size. If you use a needle that is too small on a fabric, then it is going to go blunt quickly or break.

good info here http://sewing.about.com/od/sewingmachineindex/ig/Sewing-Machine-Needles/Needle-Sizes.--94.htm on needle sizes.

Which way does the flat side of the needle go towards in a 215 model?

the flat side should face the back of the sewing machine
here's a tip I learned about needle & thread compatibility from a needle & thread expert
.
Cut 6-8 inch piece of thread of the spool you are going to use for your project
Take the needle you are going to use for the project
& insert the thread thru the eye of the needle
& lift one end of the thread to a 45 degree angle
& if the needle is the right size for the thread it will slide down the thread
But if the needle hangs on the thread you need one size larger needle for the thread

I have a white sewing machine model 415 and cant find needles to fit the machine

Hi. Sewing machine needles are standard sizes, so you shouldn't have a problem finding needles to fit. You use different size needles depending on what weight and type of fabric you plan to sew (I posted a chart that explains what size needle to use with what fabric).
What do you want to sew?

I need to find needles for my necchi model 3101FA in Wisconsin

Your machine uses standard needles. 15x1 system 705 sizes 9-18 which you can buy where ever needles are sold. If the needles appear to be too short, then you have a timing problem

Thread breaking on Simplicity Denim Star

Hi, when your thread breaks or frays right before in goes through the eye of the needle:
  1. Change your needle - after awhile, the eye can wear down and cause your thread to break or fray, eventhough it looks like the thread isn't even going through the needle. When you change your needle, make sure to install a needle that is compatible with the thread you are using (see below).
  2. If your thread still frays or breaks, make sure you've threaded your machine correctly. Most machines have a hook or bar right above the needle that your thread need to pass thru before you put the thread thru the eye of your needle. Sometimes that spot above the needle is really hard to get to, and sometimes the thread slips out. Always a good idea to double check. If you are still having problems, the needle you are using is probably the wrong size.
There are lots of needles on the market, and lots of threads. You need to make sure your needle is compatible with the thread you use for each project.

The most common needles are size 80 and 90 universal needles, which are fine for most sewing projects. But if you are using a specialty thread, you need to use a needle that is designed to work with that particular thread. For example, top stitching needles have a larger eye than a universal needle, because top stitching thread is thicker than sewing thread. The same is true for metallic thread - needles made for metallic thread an eye designed to allow the thread to pass thru without fraying. Further, if you using fine thread, you need a small needle.

FYI - unfortunately, thread sizes do not correspond directly with needle sizes. Small needle numbers indicate a needle with a small eye. But the smaller the thread size, the larger the thread. For example, size 50 thread is very fine and would usually be used with a size 70 needle. Size 30 thread is fairly thick and would probably be used with a size 90 top stitch needle.

Hope this helps, and remember, you should always change your needle after about 10 hours of sewing, no matter what size needle you are using. If you have more questions, please post again. Thanks, Ginny

If the problem started after you changed the needle size, may be,
otherwise, check your needle/looper timing, and distance between needle and looper.
