You would be better off re-lining the original barrel.

Broken spring, dry washer. Take apart, carefully wearing eye protection please.

Broken spring is caused by discharging without a pellet in the breech.

How can I use my boresighter on my silent cat Gamo air rifle.

There is a small screw under the front sight. take it out. then work what will turn out to be just the grey front to the baffle, out. pull it from the bottom as that is where the longer insert is. u will then see the blue plastic off the baffle. it tugs out. then ull c the end of the barrel, Boresight fits inside grey baffle cover. happy shootinnng

How do I remove the breech block on a .50 cal muzzleloader so I can clear a stuck round?

"a round stuck in the barrel"

From that statement I assume you mean you had a bad load, and when fired the ball when only part way down the barrel and got stuck, correct?

If so, rather than unscrewing the "breech plug", you might want to try the less invasive old time method.

You might try a ".50 cal black powder bullet puller":

Attach it to the end of a cleaning rod, and screw the end into the ball.

The brass ring is non-marring in the steel bore.

Once screwed in good, pull it out!

Or, you might try a "CO2 bullet discharger":

Remove the nipple (if a percussion action), and shoot the blast of air through it, pushing out the bullet (have it pointed in a safe direction!)

Gamo cfx royal

Zero the weapon to 30 yards at first then try to get all your shots inside a 40mm circle once you can do that move out 5 yards and repeat until you reach a distance you are happy with like 50 to 60 yards as long as your first shot placement is the kill shot

Air rifle?

Most rifles will hit whithin at least one inch across a normal back yard. You're quality is going to come from the manufacturer. CO2 and Air Pump is a personal choice, I have noticed no difference in performance, though some say CO2 is more reliable. Daisy is a classic manufacturer and has some modern, good weighted rifles that will shoot dependably. Anything with a Walther barrel or the Walther name is a good investment when it comes to rifles (not so much for pistols). Break barrel actions are prone to jam, be difficult to open once lead shavings build up, and pinch nastilly, and if you have a child or are a novice shooter yourself, a traditional action will help you learn proper habits early on. You really shouldnt spend 300$ for an Air Rifle, or even 200...Maybe even 100.
