SOURCE: Sent incorrect model no. before. my daughter has set a pin no. password on her tablet in error. She doesn;t know what it is so now we can't access tablet. We have pressed reset button on back but no c
Isn't this the same problem as this one?
The tablet has no PIN. It is the SIM card for 3G that needs a PIN to access the 3G service.
When you remove the SIM card, the tablet will work perfectly without asking a PIN.

While it's turned off you hold the volume up and power buttons. Then when the android appears release the buttons. Hold the power button and press volume up. Navigate with the volume keys and select factory data reset. Hopefully this isn't the method you'd already tried.
