Thanks for your inquiry, Barbara Williams!

I understand that the lights on your Frigidaire washer are blinking and beeping. It sounds like your washer is providing a set of error codes. Your control panel may need to be replaced. I would recommend contacting a professional technician for proper diagnosis to be completed to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. Hope this is helpful. -Matt

SOURCE: problem with frigidaire washing machine

I've read in a product review that Frigidaire put out a service bulletin regarding the electronic timer circuit board in these machines. Apparently enough of these boards failed to prompt a factory response. With this in mind, you should call an appliance repair center and ask them if they're aware of this Factory Service Bulletin. In many cases like this, where a part is manufactured defective, the repair could be free to you.

SOURCE: beep coming from washing machine

You might have the end of cycle setting turned on. It will beep to let you know that the washer is done. Can turn off, under options on the control panel.

SOURCE: the wash beeps all the time

I had the same problem about a year ago. Out of the blue, the washer would start beeping and blinking. While the washer would run fine, it was annoying. Anyways, I had the service guy in and he had to replace the control board panel (under warranty). Without warranty, the cost of the part would be ~ 150.00. It was fine after that.

Leveling kenmore elite front loader

  • Place the level on the top of the washing machineicon1.png to see if it is level. Make sure you test it side to side and front to back.

Pull the washing machine away from any walls if you have to make an adjustment to the legs.

  • Lift the washericon1.png and place the wood block underneath the washer. Place the block near the leg that needs to be adjusted, but don't let it obstruct the leg.

  • Loosen the nut that secures the legicon1.png with the wrench.

  • Raise the height of the leg by twisting it to the left, or lower the height by twisting it to the right.

  • Remove the block of wood from under the washer and recheck the machine with the level.

  • Raise or lower the leg if additional adjustments are needed.

  • Tighten the nut on the leg with the wrench when the machine is level.

  • Repeat the process for each leg that needs to be adjusted.

  • Move the washer back into position and check with the level again to make sure the washer remains stable to finish leveling the machine.

Disclaimer, I'm not a repairman! But I did fix the same problem after reading some info online and messing around. Open the lower panel-2 screws at the very bottom next to the legs, pill down, it's off- and there will be a yellow envelope on the left hand side. It will have the tech sheets in it and will tell you how to put it in a test mode. It will also tell you the codes and how to read them. If the results of the tests (my code was EB3) tell you "replace the control board" don't spend $225 on a new board yet! I was 1 step away from ordering it from when I thought I have nothing to lose at this point. So I pulled the control board out: the top -2 screws at the back pull out, lift up and its off 2. Take the upper panel off (where the lights and buttons are)-4 screws, 2 on top, 2 where the detergent tray goes in. Do take the tray out first. 3. Inside that panel you'll see the control board housing-5 screws, 2 on the left, 1 on the right, 2 in the middle, there are some plastic latches also, just use a small flathead to prop them. Unplug all the cables- I marked them so I would know where each one would go once I'm done- 4. Open the housing, again prop the plastic latches. 5. Once u have the green board in your hand wipe VERY GENTLY the back side (side that doesn't have all the components sticking out, the flat side) with a dry paper towel. On mine I could see white residue. I think it was oxidation. Since the control board housing is not sealed I think with time the humidity and vapors caused oxidation and start shorting the circuit. 6. Before putting everything back together I connected all the cables to the control board and did a test run, I was very happy when I heard the water start to fill up. Saved me $225 plus labor which probably would have cost me over $300 easily. The machine new was $550! w
