Don't quote me - but there may be a circlip on the spindle under the mat (it's like a little metal "C" in a groove). You should be able to lever it out with a small screwdriver or two. I haven't seen the model you've got, but saw one similar years ago.

What is the voltage on SG-HM22 Music Stereo System turntable motor? 12v or 24V ?

I don't have the specs available however, many turntables utilize the actual wall outlet voltage to operate the turn table itself. if you have one in front of you, you can measure the voltage directly. It should be AC as the frequency of the input voltage is what sets the base rate of the motor that operates the turn table and is then typically altered by the transmission.

How do i install a belt on a philips stereo turntable

To replace a drive belt.
Before starting unplug from mains power source.
1, Remove the rubber platter mat to expose the platter.
2. Put your thumb and forefinger through the two round holes and lift the platter off. You may need to give the centre spindle a light tap (whilst applying upward pressure) with a screwdriver handle or some similar tool that will not leave any marks or damage.
3. Remove the old belt and wipe the platter pulley and motor pulley with an alcohol swab to remove any old belt residue.
4. Place the new belt around the platter pulley making sure t is sitting flat without any twists.
5. Flip platter over the right way up. There are1or 2 larger rectangle shaped cut outs in the platter.
6. Through the cut out pinch up the belt and slip a finger or belt hook between the platter pulley and the belt gripping the belt ready to fit over the motor pulley.
7. Align the centre hole of the platter with the spindle and place platter back into position keeping a grip on the belt.
8. Slip belt over motor pulley and give the platter a light clockwise rotation to ensure the belt is riding correctly.
9. Replace the rubber mat and then run the turntable to ensure correct operation.

Job done.

If the turntable has a two-piece platter, Lift off the outer platter and place the belt around the inner platter and motor pulley.

If the turntable has a one-piece platter, lift off the whole patter, place the belt around the inner drum. There will be a hole in the platter's top through which you can reach a finger to stretch the belt so that the belt can be placed around the motor pulley as you put the platter back in place.

My drive belt came off i do not know how to put it back on please help! I have a Denon - Fully Automatic Turntable System - DP-29F It doesn't give me much help in the instructions on how to put it back on.

1. Remove the rubber disc from the metal platter.
2. Remove the metal platter by pulling straight up.
3. Ignore the player for the moment; focus on the platter.
4. On the underside of the platter is a circle about 2 inches smaller than the platter; stretch the belt around that inner circle. Make sure it is not twisted.
5. Put the platter back on the player. Rotate the platter so that one of the rectangular holes reveals the drive wheel.
6. Stretch the belt so that it goes around the drive wheel (I used a pencil but tweezers would likely work well).
7. Replace the rubber disc.

I am tryin to hook up my sharp cd-c622 to a new vizio 42 tv....not getting any sound thru the stereo though...any help would be appreciated

If this is the correct model number CD-C622 there doesn't appear to be an input. You would need an input to connect this to a television and get sound out of it. I am copying and pasting the specs "It's a stereo mini-system with 40 watts per channel, and it incorporates a three-disc CD changer, a dual-well cassette deck, and an AM/FM tuner. The CD-C622 is equipped with surround sound decoding and surround speakers that add an extra ambiance to music. CD functions include 32-track programmability and repeat/random playback. The radio offers 40 station presets. The cassette deck has full-logic controls. There's a front panel clock/timer and a multi-color fluorescent display. A five-program equalizer gives you presets to suit different types of music, and there's a bass boost function, too. This system also comes with a Toslink digital audio output for recording CDs onto CD-R or MiniDisc."

Unless the input was omitted from this listing of the specs there wouldn't be a way to connect this to a television. I recommend purchasing a sound bar.

Belt fell off

HI, First remove mat from TT platter. Next hold it with upward pressure while striking centre pin with a sharp tap, (real light instrument) not blow. Next you will see the motor shaft (once TT is removed) note it's position, put belt back onto TT rim, that will be the underside flange, lift belt by one finger away from flange edge and place TT back over spindle while having finger with belt over motor shaft. allow belt to contact with motor. Now belt should be around under platter flange and around motor pulley. If this is correct, power up, if all works replace soft mat and enjoy the music. A word of warning, the belt and stylus/cartridge may need replacement!

How do i put turntable belt back on?

you must first get the platter off [the bit that you put the record on ]
this will prise off with equal pressure on both sides but remove the rubber mat on the platter first [it might have a little clip on the centre spindle if so just get a screwdriver and push the clip off ] then just jiggle the platter with your hands until it frees , when off you should see a small round disc thats connected to the motor that turns the platter via a rubber belt , you just connect the new belt around this and then connect the other end to the platter very fiddly , not being familiar with kenwood turntables i could be totally wrong here and the belt might go to another pulley in which case you might need more than one belt , your best bet is to get the platter off and let me know what it looks like

Belt on turntable needs replacing

should have a retainer clip of some sort right in the center of the platter. Should look something like this, you will need to take it off first.
