Question about Ovens
Checked the thermal fuse, it's ok. Cleaned the ribbon cable connecting the touchpad and control board.
The display dimmed the it went out hummmm sounds the usual
could be a dry bad solders on the controller pcb...
as its now gone out...
sounds like the psu section of the controller board has failed
you can take a look around for the details or take it to a service guy who will prob just remove and replace the controller board or you can order the controller board and fit it yourself
basically you have a low voltage supply to the controller
and this switches the high voltage and fan controls of the oven so whats happened is the low voltage supply to the controller board has failed as you say it went dim this tells me that the display inverter section or its supply has failed and as the supply to the controllers sections and display inverter its safe to assume that the main low voltage supply section on the controller pcb has a problem
this is usually caused by bad capacitors that can cause other components to fails this is why a service engineer will avoid trying to repair and and will refresh the controller pcb
so.... if your up for it youll need a DVM and a diagram
other than this a new board...

Testimonial: "Thanks Simeon, any idea why the display doesn't show any error code? It's just dark"

I have the single oven of this style and I had to replace the thermocouple (part number 4450934) on the back of the oven three times (used the cleaning cycle three times). After using the cleaning cycle, the oven would not heat so each time I had to pull the oven out from the wall to access the back so I could change the part. Once a new part was put on the back of the oven, it worked fine. To pull the oven out, open the oven door and look down by the doors hinges. On each side you will see a screw that's holding the side molding on. Remove the screws and then the molding. That will give you access to the screws that hold the oven into the framing around the oven. Remove the screws and then you can pull the oven out to access the back to change the thermocouple. The oven is heavy so you may want some help to get out. It is not a one man job, maybe a one man and wife job. It is heavy. I hope this helps. Better late than never.

PF simply means a power failure and simply needs to have the breaker reset to accept the new board that you replaced. There are times when you may need to replace the breaker that controls you oven electricity.

yes. E1 -F2- = the keytail (connector ribbon) that plugs into the control board is not making good contact. first unplug your range and then remove the two screws on the underside of the back-splash controls panel to access the back of the control board. now simply cut a slip of heavy paper such as a business card to the width of the ribbon and slide it into the slot along with the ribbon connector. that will help press the contacts on the other side together snuggly. screw the back-splash back in place, plug in your range, and the problem will vanish. if the error ever returns, try pulling out the connector, cleaning the contacts with a pencil eraser, reinserting it into the slot and repeat above with the paper. good luck.
