Question about Televison & Video
I'd tried hitting all the buttons on the bottom for the dvd plus tried setup for dvd buttons on top and it always says invalid key!! If you could help me that would be wonderful as I love the tv and can't send it back coz I'm disabled.
Try a reset to this TV. If it do not help you, contact the authorized service centre. The DVD mechanism control circuit board might have to be replaced.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
New users get to try the service completely Free afterwhich it costs $6 per call and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

It may not be able to run the GPX dvd player as GPX is not a mainstream brand, if you have the original GPX remote, you might purchase a learning remote that can copy remote codes from the original, I have seen these Learning Remotes from around $20 by Phillips Magnavox if I remember correctly.

SOURCE: TV input
it is likely that your tv is interpreting a random button on your remote as a signal sent for it to change inputs, next time this happens turn the tv off and back on and note what comes up on the screen, for example video 1,
