My "globe" timer, model # 16USH/3A-24213 and made in China, is for a week's settings, it only states time now and shows hours of light and darkness. How can I set this timer?

Tried to set the time now, but don't understand how it works. The daylight times are 12 to 12 and dark hours are the same.

Is it a vacation timer? With random settings?
If so, then specific times cannot be set.
The light and dark are for day and night, the time now is for current time

I have model 0155671 but it doesnt look like the model online mine has four buttons across set time plus minus next riw is rnd ctd bottom is manual i dont understand when it says select 12 or 24...

A) 12-24 hour choice >> just use the 24 hour display.
That gives you day and night hours
I don't know why these companies offer 12hr-24hr option on timers.

B) Military time vs Regular time (military time does not use am and pm)
1 1am
2 2am
7 7am
11 11am
12 12noon
13 1pm
14 2pm
20 8pm
23 11pm
24 12midnight

C) Utilitec 0155671 is same as Woods 59377
Before Woods made 59377, they made 49566 (which is also called TD1101 and TD1300)

I bought a utilitech three outlet outdoor timer and cannot get it to set. Now I cannot seem to find the instructions that came with it. Where can I download the instructions?

I bought one also but am taking it back today as I am not satisfied with the performance and the internal battery dies losing all programming. The instructions below are word for word from the manual but not all that clear. Since I can't post the diagram from http://www.thencc.com/westinghouse/LS/Instruction/T28499_TimerManual.pdf (if I can post links here), I substituted words in the "Set Mode" section instead. This is for the Utilitech 0149289 model and also applies to the Westinghouse and Stanley equals. Good luck.

Need instructions for setting Globe outdoor timer photocell model one button on/off #16UL/PC-24222

Use the on/off button to cycle through in the following order:

F = off

0 = on

1-9 = Number of hours unit stays on after detecting 15 seconds of low light

R = Random. After detecting low lux for 15 seconds, unit will select random number of hours to stay on. Will repeat randomization cycle in 24 hrs

d = On from dusk til dawn

1.-9. = (number followed by period) On now and will shut off after the indicated number of hours elapses.

Neat little timer. Have fun with it.
