When you bid on eBay, it's a binding contract. You can't cancel.
Contacting the seller is your only hope.

if so, then...
Normally you can't cancel a bid, because by clicking on acceptance of bid placed, you entered into a contract and commitment to buy that item! But under certain circumstances, you can, I think yours applies?
