Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

How to update Samsung galaxy s duos 2 (GT-S7582) from jelly bean to kitkat or lollipop?

Just download Kies, it will install all the drivers needed fort he phone to connect. Once it's install, reboot your computer, then connect the phone with an USB cable to the PC, open Kies, and it will notify you of an update, if and if there is one available for your phone.
If that don't work, you will need to get the latest available firmware for your device and download it to your pc, then download Odin, which is a program that allow you to flash your device. With Odin you will flash your Samsung device the recently downloaded firmware. If you are a noob when it comes to flashing firmware, then I recommend that you visit XDA forum.

Can it be upgraded with software to lollipop or marshmallow? I have StraightTalk as my carrier.

It depends on which OS you are using. If it is KitKat 4.4.4, then you should be able to upgrade to Lollipop. In your apps there should be one called Update Center or in the phone settings somewhere there should be a Software Update function. Use one of these to do a system software update which will update your phone to the most recent OS level that is allowed on your phone.

I upgraded my phone from KitKat version to lollipop version and now I can no longer receive picture messages is there a simple remedy for this problem

Have you received the settings sms's from your service provider? If not, maybe try removing your sim, and replacing it to see if it sends you the settings sms's then.

Go to settings / about tablet and see what the android version on your tablet is.
  • Honeycomb (3.0-3.2.6)
  • Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0-4.0.4)
  • Jelly Bean (4.1-4.3.1)
  • KitKat (4.4-4.4.4, 4.4W-4.4W.2)
  • Lollipop (5.0-5.1)
If the version is app specific, then you can only use it with that version. Otherwise, it should be backwards compatible.

My sony xperia z keeps turning off when removed from the charger even tho its showing 96% battery. Do i need a new battery?

It should not shut off at this percentage. Try clearing the cache partition, you may find this resolves the problem. Especially after an update i.e. to KitKat, Lollipop ect.

Where can i found flight mode on my mobile phone

It all depends on your phone model (which it would've help now) and firmware. On KitKat and Lollipop (Android) all you have to do is swipe down the status bar and there it is. Also you can go to settings, More, and it's also here. On older firmware could be under cellular or connectivity.
To send a picture, always make sure that you have the correct APN settings for your wireless carrier.
