Buffering is typically the result of a slow internet connection. This can be at your end of the connection, your ISP or the site you are viewing the video from. You can check your current speeds at http://speedtest.net Speedtest net by Ookla The Global Broadband Speed Test There isn't much you will be able to do to resolve this, if you are on a slow connection you may consider upgrading your internet connection

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Problem playing video on my ASUS Transformer.

Hi Sam, are you familiar with the "buffer bar" when playing videos? It is the part of the video timeline that extends beyond where you've watched so far and it shows how much of the show is preloaded and ready for you to watch. If that buffer bar (usually grey) is too small or right at where you've watched to, then it means that something in your set up isn't fast enough to keep up with the show.

it could mean that you need to let your video start, and then pause it for a while to let it load before starting to watch. It may mean that you need to clean up your computer that may be bogged down with junk. Try using CCleaner from Pirform downloadable on Cnet
(Product reviews and prices software downloads and tech news CNET).

It could mean that your computer is simply not fast enough to handle never videos with higher definition that require more power to load quickly. So, if cleaing your computer doesn't help, then you may need to upgrade your RAM. Use ctrl+alt+delete to open the task manager, and use this to check the processor and RAM loads. This may take some googling to figure out. Processors can be hard to nearly impossible to switch, but RAM is easy, but may cost $40-$80 depending on what you need. Here is a website to find reliable products called Crucial (Compatible upgrades Guaranteed). It botched the link name, but it works.

Good luck!

How to fix buffering while viewing movies?

The cause of buffering is due to lack of consistent data flow. This can be due to quality of wireless connection, bandwidth capacity of connection (ISP speed), or amount of internal memory available for buffering. Ensure that you maximize the amount of available RAM for data buffering. Ensure that you have adequate ISP speed to support the video quality you are trying to view. Lastly, make sure that you have the strongest possible wireless signal to avoid slow data throughput.
If you have done all you can and are still having issues, you may have to reduce viewing resolution to reduce the amount of data streaming required.

Fix buffering on YouTube

It indicates that it is downloading the file but it will not download as fast as it is being used. Most systems will stop, but keep downloading until the buffer gets enough and it starts playing again. The buffer is a temporary storage in RAM memory.

without actually having a chip to complement your sound 'card' you're not really going to have hardware capability ... just just a shared state where available memory for use by sound is deducted from available standard ram ... your graphx card is also integrated ... ( hehe .. i've actually had someone ask me to upgrade their laptops video card .... )
