Question about Samsung WB150F SMART Long Zoom WiFi 14 Megapixel Digital Camera - White
Tried with 3 known fully charged batteries but "connecting to computer", briefly displays on screen, then only the LED flashes green, if operate or play switch is pressed. Fault was intermittent at first but now it is every switch on. It had to be a software/firmware fault, but a reset when the camera worked did not fix it! Fault appeared at low battery condition, but replacing with a charged battery does not fix it. Batteries are still recharged in the camera successfully .
Can you test the voltage of the charged batteries, often they will not hold full charge for several reasons, age, factory imperfection, over use, haven't been allowed to discharge fully before recharge, dirty battery contacts, if you can, try new non rechargeable batteries, often cameras get temperamental about batteries after some time, use a metal tarnish cleaner with a cue tip, on the contacts, or pure alcohol, if bad, use plastic scourer, cold batteries don't work well, warm them in your hands if cold.
