Unfortunately, I don't remember the ago of this unit. You might look in your owner's manual, and see if there's a procedure for, "Return to factory defaults, or just Reset". If this unit is controlled by a microprocessor(computer within your unit), this reset may resolve your issue. If this doesn't correct your issue and require additional assistance, or would like to inquire about a repair, please visit my website at audioserviceclinic.com. You may contact me there. Thank you.

SOURCE: My Technics stereo system ...the display screen shows nothing

The question is, do you hear any sound? Is just the display off or is the entire unit shutdown? Can you tell?

These displays are known to develope poor solder connections at the power input and ground pins. If you can solder, open up the unit (unplugged of course) and examine the pins for the display. This will be on the PC board attached to the front panel. The pins at either end of a long line of pins will be the power and ground pins. Reasolder those pins, taking care not to short the pins together and try the unit once done. If that does not resolve the problem (assuming it is just a display problem), update this with as many details as you can about the behavior of the unit and we'll look further.

All sources or just one? Make sure the Tape Monitor isn't engaged unless you're using an external tape deck or processor. A turntable will only work on the PHONO input.

Have you noticed if the speakers selector switch in the front panel is set to off ? That position for the switch is only suited to listen heaphones. Good Luck.

Hi: I have an sa-gx technics amplifier and when I turn it on I can hear the sound

Try to turn it on with volume knob at zero position. That might work well.
Good Luck.

F70 displays after about 5 min of use.

According to Technics reference manual, turn the unit off, unplug for a few, plug in, turn unit on. Consult your "dealer"(authorized repair person, i guess) if light remains on. But doesn't say what f70 means, or associated with.
Unplug and open up the unit, and check the internal fuses on the circuit board. Also check for proper speaker wire hook up. Re-seat the connections. Visibly check the speaker wire runs for shorts, cracked casing, cat/dog chewing. etc.

Hope this helps.

I have a technics amplifier SU G75

I have a technics too, and faced the same problem. The solution is very simple just ensure the +ve and -ve wires are connected correctly for each speaker to the amp. Eg. red wire to the red knob and black wire to the black on both ends. sometimes this arises because the wires are of just one color however there will be some marking on the wire to indicate which is +ve and -ve. This took care of the overload problem.
