Itried replacing cmos battery.. keyboard.. and mouse nothing happen. still hang up. i cant enter bios set up all keys are freeze. i also putting new thermal paste on cpu still the trouble appears. start up sreen only
Sometimes it can be something simple like the ps2 cable from keyboard has dislodged.check all cables.any bleep codes should be noted.i.e.three bleeps usually unseated/ failed ram chips.
best solution would be hirens. Boot disk which will install a small Xp version on ram and allow diagnostics and fixes to be carried out.you will need to create a bootable USB or burn a disc.google hirens 15.2.if no joy you may consider the fault is coming from boot sector which is root kit problem.the solution sometimes is to remove drive and fix it on another machine then reinstall it.

In that case I would try using a USB keyboard to get control of bios.sometimes the root kit can disable normal keyboards.

Take out the memory sticks.Unplug pc first. Then Clear c mos. Put memory sticks back in one at a time.
Reboot on each stick.May be a bad memory stick.
