Question about Yaesu Radio Communications
I'm trying to get yaesu transceiver to work I don't have the back part so I'm wondering if I connect it to my Delphi or my sirus will that work
Most yaesu transceivers are not capable of tunning the wide band FM broadcast band needed to hook up sirus or delphi satellite radio

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Thanks 4 your advice.
I left the radio w/o any batteries (the only battery is back up memory battery) in that time, and when I try the radio I used new batteries. The power supply for the radio is build in (uses 30 amperes switching power supply) and I have checked that the power supply is in a good condition. I suspect that PLL unit is not working so can't oscillation to generate frequencies.
The problem with sending the unit to the factory to be serviced is not worth (cost > benefit/ radio value).
Do you have another idea to help me? Please.. Thanks

check the resistor values around the finals and also around the stage that drives the finals and see if they differ from the schematic values.

If this charger is one that plugs into the radio then you will have to take a volt meter and check the voltage on the plug. It should be close or slightly higher in voltage than the label on the power supply.
It most likely be that the transformer or the contacts in the plug are bad.
You could try and turn on the radio with the battery on and see if the radio comes on.
