Question about Makita BMR100 Radio
The battery seems to be charging as the music plays after 20 mins or so, but the radio wont work. ive checked and it works when plugged into mains socket

Check the battery it may have a high internal impedance.

SOURCE: makita radio wont tune to 87.6fm
This is a typical setup configuration for US countries; the distance between 2 radiostations is 0.2MHz. If you live outside US it is usefull trying to tune at 87.6MHz because there is no station at that frequency. In case you live outside US try to locate a setting at the tune mode section refered as European countries or Asia countries. At these settings the frequency step is smaller. I'll try to locate a user manual in case you don't have one, in order to give you more detailed steps.
