Usually serial numbers are found on doors which can sometimes be swapped out and replaced by similar make from another machine.chances are you just need the model and make as belts are quite universal within the makers model range.

Your leak may be at the pump as these will eventually have failed seals and need replacement. They aren't too hard to find, with the back panel removed, look for a roundish plastic device with several hoses attached.
You can get the part number from the Sears parts 'store' via an illustrated breakdown of your machine and order it from them or, if you have a Johnstone Supply store in your area, you can save a few dollars getting it there.

SOURCE: We are having the F1 problem everyone else seems

As a service tech I ran into this several times.I do not know what the law is but I know as a service tech we were not allowed to perform any warranty work on any unit that did not have a valid serial number. In all my cases the customer went back to where they purchased the units and demanded that they make it right ,and in 90% of the cases they exchanged the units (but not without some dissagrement) obviously you need to work this out this is not a cheap repair

Maybe look on the belt, to see if there is a same number on it. take it to a appliance repair dealer get him or her to check for you

Motor just hums during spin cycle

This sounds like the drive belt may have snapped off. It's usually located on the bottom of the washer. If you're able, tilt the washer on its side and recover the broken belt. It usually connects from the drive motor to the tensioner, then to the transmission. Take the belt to your local appliance parts store so they can match it up with a replacement. You may want to copy down the actual model and serial numbers down so the parts counter can provide a more accurate and exact replacement. Please let me know if you need any further help with this.

    I hope this helps! :)

I have a very old snapper and need a new belt. The belt that is on it is not the right one to begin with, I have the serial # and model #, I am just trying to find maybe a part # or the correct size and...

    Hello.

The greatest part about owning a Snapper is that they have changed very little over the years. Your belt is one of the easiest parts to match up. With the numbers that you have, the Snapper dealer can make the match for you. It really is that easy. I have gone in with much less information, and still received the correct parts. Try it.
