Have u tried unplugging it for about 10 minutes then plugging it back in? Sometimes doing thus can reset it. It is only a quick fix and a qualified serviceman should called to completely fix the problem.

Testimonial: "I tried turning off the circuit breaker and then putting it back on, but the error code F1E0 remains. Thanks!"

    1. Disconnect power for at least 30 seconds. 2. Re-apply power and observe for at least one minute. 3. If code re-appears, replace control board (also called ERC or clock). If you bought this control board used I am afraid it is bad. That error is only for a bad control board.

Broken knob

Turn off the power to the appliance. Squirt WD40 liberally all round the knob, trying to get it in behind it. Wiggle the knob and press it down and up if possible to let the WD40 oil work in to the dirty or stuck joints. Leave for a few hours and wiggle it again to see if its loosened up.

Can't turn on KECC508 cooktop I didn't buy it and it is in the house and the light in the middle to power all burners off is lit.

The middle light is the lock. You must hold it down for at least 7 seconds to unlock it, then the middle light will go off. Your hands can't be wet, or none of the buttons on mine work right.
