Question about Heating & Cooling
This is a thermostat for heat pump
I am only guessing but I belieive that indicates you are operating on the aux heat, could be electric or gas. Mine is gas. This will be consistent at its set temperature which should be about 30F depending on what part of the country you live in. Put a note pad and each time you go by note the outside temp and the indicator as on or off. You will eventually find the problem. You may also have an option to drop the fuel pump and just run on aux heating, but there may also be an indicator for that.
