I'm assuming you mean "insert" rather some crawly creature. SD cards are designed to only fully seat in one way. I'd suggest turning the card over and trying again. Take a flashlight and look in the slot to be sure something isn't blocking (remember VCR's,lol). It should slide in with little pressure, the last 1/4" might feel tighter but that's a spring compressing to take it out. Finally have you tried the card in another machine?

Good luck

Samsung Tab S 8.4" ask for password or pin #, where is it located?

It can only come from your carrier. They have locked the SIM.

Tip & How-To about Cell Phones
Your phone is asking for a PUK code?

Is your phone asking for a PUK code. PUK = Personal Unlocking Key. Personal Unblocking Key, or PIN Unblocking Key.

This can only come from your cellphone carrier and usually the company that still owns the phone under the agreement. Sometimes it is because you have put another SIM card in it, and they own the phone and need you to use them as carrier to get the price of the phone back, or you are in default of payment, or on a Pay as You Go plan, it is over expired. I can also happen if you have entered the unlock code wrongly three times. This often happens when a phone is stolen or lost and has been found by or sold to someone else who then try and use the phone. Wikipedia A personal unblocking code (PUC), also known as a PIN unlock key (PUK), is used in 3GPP mobile phones to reset a personal identification number (PIN) that has been lost or forgotten.
Most mobile telephones offer the feature of PIN protection. After switching on the phone, if the PIN security function is active, the user is requested to enter a 4-8 digit PIN enabling the phone's non-emergency calling functions. If the wrong PIN is typed in more than three times, either the SIM card, the device, or both become locked. They can be returned to their original unlocked state by entering a PUC, provided by the service operator after verification. If the wrong PUC is entered ten times in a row, the device will become permanently blocked and unrecoverable, requiring a new SIM card. Cellular phone users are therefore advised by most providers to keep their PUC written down in a safe place separate from the device.
The PUC (PUK) is a SIM-specific code assigned and provided by the service provider.
Once you enter the PUK code, you must set a PIN. The PUK and PUK2 are used to unlock the PIN and PIN2 codes respectively if your SIM card is blocked
From Bell
The PIN unblocking key (PUK; sometimes called personal unlocking key) is a master security code for unblocking and resetting the personal identification number (PIN) for your SIM card. For added security, the PUK is unique to your SIM card. If your PIN code is active and you enter it incorrectly three times, your SIM card will be blocked. You won't be able to use your phone, except for emergency calls. You must enter your PUK into your phone to unblock the SIM card. If your SIM card becomes blocked, Contact us to get your PUK.
You may be able to do it from the website or your cellular provider. This is from Orange - T-Mobile in the UK.
Your phone can become blocked in a number of ways - one of them is if you enter your SIM card PIN number incorrectly three times in a row. To unblock your SIM card, you will need to use something called a PUK (Personal Unblocking Key).
Remember that unblocking is different to unlocking. Read more information on unlocking your device.

How to get a PUK code

The quickest way to get a PUK code is online using My Account. We'll show you this information whenever you need it.
  1. Register or log in to My Account.
  2. Select Help & Support from the main menu options on your account homepage.
  3. Select Get your PUK code.
  4. Then select Get PUK1 code.
  5. Once you have your PUK code, enter this into your phone to unblock your SIM.
Please enter your PUK code carefully - if you enter the wrong PUK code 10 times, you will permanently block your SIM card and we'll need to send you a new one. 1826865-en.jpg?2.0

How do I stop no SIM card coming up on my iPad screen all the time.

This is a bug in iOS 8, and there is no solution for it, but I did find 2 workarounds you can try.
1. Buy an empty SIM card and put it in it. Most companies will give you a free one.

2. This is more complex, and it is from a post I read.

I waited to update my iPad 2 but finally bit the bullet & did the update last week. Lo & behold, I started getting the 'no sim card' popup especially while using the App Store (updating & downloading new apps), settings, & apps that required location based services. I read through this thread & searched elsewhere for a solution. After turning off most location services & going through every app (I have many) the problem still remained. Airplane mode worked but I wanted to see if I could fix the problem. Prior to updsting to iOS 8.1.3 & had 'reset all settings' not erasing data. This morning I decided to do it again. still keeping my data. When my iPad rebooted I got the 'no sim card' message once (which is normal) but so far (fingers crossed) it has not reappeared. I also noticed that it rebooted with location services off which I then re-enabled leaving all the defaults on. I have opened maps, the App Store & settings, along with various other apps & my iPad is behaving nicely. It is also snappier than before especially safari. Maybe there were some cache files or corrupted files leftover from the last install. For anyone still having this problem, give it a try before totally resetting your iPad as new.

How & where to insert Sim cards

Hi
I haven't had much luck with finding a manual for this machine to tell you precisely where a SIM card would go, but on the specifications toward the bottom of this page:
iRulu 7 WCDMA 3G Black Tablet PC Dual Core Cam 4GB Android 4 2 Bluetooth...
it quite clearly shows it as a dual SIM machine. This may mean that you have the SIM in the wrong slot, or yoou may need 2 to make it operate. Not having found a manual I' m afraid I can't be more specific.
Cheers

I need to get the puk and pin so I can unlock my sims

you can find the PUK & PIN only on the package or SIM-card holder which came with your SIM-card - see photo

Step 1: Look in your SIM card wallet. Most network providers will give you your PUK code on the SIM card holder and instruction manual/ package when you buy the phone. Others send the code through the post in your welcome pack.
Step 2: Contact your network provider's customer service team. If you can't find your PUK code in your SIM card wallet, contact your network provider. It will confirm that you are the account holder and provide you with your PUK code. However, remember you will need another phone to do so
Step 3
Visit the network service provider's website, where some networks will allow you to access your PUK code online. Networks such as AT&T require customers to sign into their online account before accessing their PUK code. However, others simply require you to enter your phone number before displaying your PUK code.
What is PUK

Help!!! I can't send messages thru my nokia N8-00 altho I can still receive messages, calls and can return calls

Hi,

I've experienced this problem for countable times. This is not a problem with your tablet pc but a problem with the network on some sim cards (specially if it is old). You just need to wait for it until it allows you to send messages again. If this will happen for more days, I suggest you to buy a new sim card.

Hope this helps.

The sim card is stuck, jammed I to my galaxy tab; how do I get it out?

Cut up a plastic card like a coffee loyalty card or something that is the same thickness as the sim, and make it the same width as the sim
Before gluing the tip of this card, push it in the slot to engage the release mechanism inside.
Your trying to get the mechanism on the removal cycle where the sim will be closer to coming out.
once that is done put glue on the plastic card tip.
Wipe all excess glue from the flat surfaces. you don't need much glue at all. if you bought strong grade super glue it tends fuse to sim and plastic together. so less is actually more.

let it dry well past the curing time as its better to be safe than sorry, lets face it, the sims not going anywhere and l doubt you need to make an emergency phone call.

then if your plastic card is close to the thickness of the sim card as mine was, it will depress all the sim contacts and come
out with suprisingly little effort. it felt on mine like you should have been able to tap it out in the first place.
