Question about Belkin F1DK102U 2-port KVM Switch
When I switch from one laptop to another, my newest Dell laptop has a problem with the video, I get the message 'no signal' and I can fix this by hitting the Fn and F8 keys at the same time but it is hard to do this because my docking station only allows my laptop to open a little bit. I want to be able to fix this problem with a setting or whatever I need to do so that I don't have to hit those keys to be able to use the moniror every time. Once I hit those 2 keys and change whatever that changes, it stays for the duration but when I power down and try it the next day, I have to go through this again each time I re-boot. Please help!
Probably u need to install docking software, so it knows that it will be an external video and not the laptop display default.
Check with dell support for that software
