What does this message mean on my stove: EO14 and beeping

The E0 14 error probably means that the control panel (clock) is not able to communicate with the touch pad. Trip the circuit breaker to off for at least 60 seconds. If the error recurs, you need to check the wiring between the control panel and the touch pad. Make sure that the wiring harness is tightly connected on both side. Check for any breaks in the wires. If there is no obvious problem with the wires, replace the touch pad.

Check the full model number of the double oven. The parts may be available here: http://www.searspartsdirect.com/ .

I hope this helps.

15 year old ge profile with f1 fault code. what is f1code.thanks

f1 is usually a control error fault usually means the control board has to be replaced in the unit this is what it says in the service manual for your error GE Gas or Built In Oven Fault Codes
F0 or F1 - Failed transistor in control - If code cannot be cancelled, replace the Electronic Range Control (ERC) or touch pad
how to distinguish between a fault with the touch pad and the control you would have to take and disconnect the power to the unit first and then unplug the touch pad from the control and then replug the unit in for 5 minutes if the error code is still there then you have a defective electronic control if it is not then you would have a defective touch pad it is very rare that you do get both that are defective all at once if you have any further questions message me back and please remember to rank how this opinion has helped it allows me to continue to help others in similar situations in the future Thanks again I await if you have any further reply

Message "F1" in the display.

F1 touch pad / ERC test This simple test will help determine whether the ERC (Electronic Range Control or Clock) or the touch pad is defective when F1 error code is present.

Note: Some models incorporate the touch pad in to the ERC as a single assembly, in which case this test is not necessary. Simply replace the ERC (Clock).

Warning: If you feel in any way uncomfortable performing this test or making this repair, please contact a qualified appliance repair technician.

1. Disconnect power to the range (unplug the range power cord or turn the power off to the range at the circuit breaker). It is very important that the power to the range has been disconnected, so please double check before continuing.
2. Gain access inside the control panel.
3. Disconnect the touch pad (also called keypad or membrane switch) ribbon from the ERC.
4. Make sure there are no lose wires, or anything else that may cause a short when power is turned back on. Assemble the control panel back the way it was.
5. Turn the power back on.
6. Wait for at least one hour to see if the F1 code comes back (usually accompanied by a beeping sound).
7. If F1 comes back, replace the ERC. If it does not, replace the touch pad.

Oven won't turn on, has error message, 2 of them... 1st is E0 2nd is F2

F2 - E0 Shorted keypad (also called touch pad) 1. Check keypad connector for firm connection (keypad connects to control board).
2. Press CANCEL. If error code returns after 60 seconds, replace keypad (also called touch pad or membrane switch). Some models incorporate keypad in to control board as one unit. In this case, replace control board (also called ERC or clock).

The oven beeps and has a error F1

Hello,F1 means Stuck touch pad.
Usually means that either the touch pad or the oven control (also called clock or ERC) is defective and needs to be replaced. If this fault code cannot be canceled, replace the oven control(also called clock or ERC),touch pad,or both.

Thanks

Error Message F2 E6

Hi,

Perform the following actions to fix your error:

Check the connection between the touch pad (keypad) and control board (clock) to make sure it is secure. Select the 'Upper Cancel key ' function and wait for 60 seconds. If error code reappears then replace the touch pad, or touch pad and control board (clock) if all one assembly.

Thank you !!

Getting F1 error message

F1 indicates there is a problem with the touch-pad or control itself. Usually, it's the touch pad. Try killing the power to the range and remove the touch pad ribbon from the control board. Clean it with an eraser. Power back up and see if the error comes back. If it does, remove the ribbon cable again and power up with-out it attached. If the same error still returns, then I would suspect the control board itself.

This is a shorted touch pad. replace the touch pad or, if the touch pad is incorporated within the control board, replace the entire oven control board.
