Well put on engine stand remove front wheel then mark yokes and fork alignment with marker pen undo retaining clamps on yokes if your forks are upside down ones then undo top cover s then there should be a bolt that holds the inner leg to the fork sleeve once u have removed fork leg remove inner leg from sleeve then you will be able to see the retaining clip inside the sleeve remove this then using a large flat screwdriver get under rubber seal and prize out they are not always easy once done replace with new seal reassemble refill FORK OIL !!! How to remove the fork oil for kawasaki kmx 125

you cannot remove the oil ,these units are sealed for life and never need changing ,to remove the unit to fit new seals where available you remove the fork then put it in the vice and use a allen key down the middle to seperate the unit ,this is not for the novice as its quite complicated and requires a long 1/4 drive extension with the appropiate allen key socket on the end hence the vice to hold it still .You should not need to change the oil ever in this sort of unit

How do you change the fork seals on a ybr 125 as im trying but ive undone the top cap n bottom bolt but cant get the shaft out to get the seal out

Remove fork spring, prise up dust seal, you will then see a clip holding in the main seal, remove this clip, with the spring removed you will then use the fork stancion to remove the seal, holding the fork lower in one hand and the stancion in the other push down on the stancion untill it stops then pull it up sharply, and repeate this hammer action until the fork is sepparated and the seal will then be removed

Trying too change fork seals on rx 125 now have undone from bottom of forks but cannot get the split ring out

remove the bottom split ring first then the smaller one.
if they are damaged, replace them too.

If you can't get it out without damaging it, go ahead and damage it and buy new ones.
they are not expensive.

Kawasaki KMX 125 losing power

hi man,
I had a similar problem, so maybe I can help you. it can be connected with air filter. under your seat there should be some kind of cover on the air filter. just remove it. I've noticed this problem when I unrestricted my KMX 125. the hole on the cover on the air filter is too small.
